Thanks, Mark. If you're not showing me something new, you're affirming that I might already be doing something right. Knowing you're doing something right can mean a lot to one´s confidence, and added confidence usually translates to spending more time on your instrument.
Well, it is Sunday morning and I am watching the Master's Golf Tournament and the Master Guitar Teacher. I have 2 addictions, golf and guitar, and it strikes me that being too mechanical is a problem for my guitar playing and my golf swing. I gotta more feel in both. Thanks for the reminder!

Yes, but ... doing it is the thing. Working on it constantly to not only get better at it, but to find your own way of putting "feeling" into what you play. Neil Young is a great example. Zero technique, but he digs super-deep into what he does, so he has a signature sound.

Sure thing! Hope you're having a great Sunday!
Excellent tips !!
Zark rocks!
Hmm, I don't know how I should take that! LOL!
SRV said,'When you practice, practice on an acoustic, It'll build up your hand strength.'.....
It works. I first heard that advice from Roy Clark.
Loved Daune. 🎸🙂🌟
Thank You!
My pleasure. Thanks for watching!
Haha GOLD! Great character!
Thanks John! He's gone ... I think! LOL!
great vid...🤗
Thanks!
Hahaha! Love it, signed:

LOL!
The #1 thing to improve your guitar playing is … playing the guitar 😊
Totally works

How do you get to Carnegie Hall?
@@MarkZabel if you find yourself on 7th avenue you can’t miss it .. just kidding.. practice my man practice
Not true at all. You can be stuck playing with bad technique, playing the same things and you could play for 60 years and never improve.
I kinda like Bad Mark but I have also enjoyed your transformation from one of the Beach Boys to one of the Grateful Dead. Great videos. Thanks.
LOL! Thanks!
Zark should appear more often. He is a breath of fresh air 😊
Hey now!!! LOL!
Rory Gallagher no1
He was awesome, no doubt. Virtually unknown in the US. I saw him warm up for rush in 1982 or 1983 ... been a fan ever since.
Gonna play familiar stuff this way tonight to spice up a couple licks. Without playing more notes, I mean. Hopefully less notes and more spaces.
Sounds like a great plan!
Totally underrated phrasing master:
Jimmy Lyon (Eddie Money).
Yep. Virtually unknown.
@@MarkZabel - agreed. the phrasing in Trinidad in fantastic.
I need more licks for sure. Zark is right although a little on the mean side. Lol.
LOL!
In laymans definition just make the gutiar like a singer just make gutiar sing thats all

@@MarkZabel yep in other words its a lot harder than it sounds but anyway you put out great tutorials.

Just get enjoyment out of it, as you say! Thanks for your service.
Yup
Great lesson
Thanks Joe!
Phrasing is why I can’t play the “knight Rider” theme very well

Lol......😃✌️👍
Glad you got a chuckle out of it!
