Max is a really hummble and good hearted guy. "Mother" (Drabikowski, I knew him under this nickname when he was young) from Bathushka said that he was totally rozyebany when Max said he is his hudge fan.
I genuinely believe Sepultura would have stayed at the top had they replaced Max with Zoli instead of Derrick. Vocally he's a dead ringer for 90s era Max Cavalera, and he plays guitar too.
I don't think that Derrick is the problem. But the songwriting became pretty bad after max left the band. And Derrick was a guitar player too, but for some reason theh preferred to use a recorded guitar

What won me over as a fucking huge fan, is the fact that I was a HUGE Sepultura fan, and that Zoltan sounds exactly like Max in his prime. NOOOOOTHING wrong with that. Brilliant band (and better than both Soulfly and Sepultura today)
