Goddamnit, I saw David Copperfield when I was a kid.. there was a little baby crying in the audience and to start the show off he goes.. "Were gonna have a great time tonight so everybody just sit back, relax.. shut that kid up.." Laughed till it hurt. David Copperfield will always be the most amazing magician I've ever seen. He stood the test of time and always out did himself.. he kept alive a small part of that childhood wonder seeing him then, alive in me today.
This is one of the most entertaining magic acts around. After a while, you don't even care that it's a magic trick. It's just entertaining, and the tie becomes a woundeful charicter. Copperfield himself is being upstagged and washes out of the scene.
OMFG I went to his show in Vegas a couple weeks ago and it was the EXACT same thing the song even the boxes were the same the tie sat in hoop also!! I thought this was the show I went to but this was posted to early
He did this trick two weeks ago in Vegas. When he asked the guy to open up a button, the guy started opening up all buttons. DC said something like, "Not all the way. We don't want to see too much. Just the top." The delivery was pretty funny.
This one is known already. Nothing to do with the tie or the guy, although it is no secret that many of David Copperfield's big acts, involves a lot of actors. The tie is rigged to an advanced computer control system through a strong 1mm thick wire. Noticed the background colour changed to help hide any reflection of the string. The box and ring has tiny crevices that the string slides through. This employs a similar system used in his levitation act.
I've done a lot of study into David Copperfield's tricks most of which are developed by other guys who sell the rights to him. 3 things common in his acts. 1) Actors, even on a large scale. 2) Technology (developed specially for his act) and 3) Skill, to which David is master. He has a greater and more graceful stage presence too. Better than Criss Angel. 4:50 is a special cup that is filled with liquid inside the glass sides and not inside the actual cup itself.
@ages777 Actually no. The glass has the milk in there...there is a tube running from his arm to his pants. You can see him put his hand in his pocket when it was draining.
i agree with ProfCereal , i saw his show 2 times and just recently a few days ago , he also use a red tie . and before that like 2-3 years ago he used a red tie .. again ..
Yeah, they're all set up. I went to the morning one, where he predicted numbers. The people were-Blue boxers, uhh...using his digeridoo 8hrs ago and a birthday 18th April. In the afternoon it was-grey boxers, dun know about the second one, but the last 1's birthday was 18th April. And all the ppl were the same!
will people please stop trying to know how the trick is done! we all no its fake but once in a while it nice to pretend that there i stuff out there that we can't explain! don't explain how its done! just right a nice comment, rate it, and maybe even subscribe.

Vždy perfektní vystoupení gratulujeme mnohokrát krásné díky patří vám gratulujeme mnohokrát krásné hodně štěstí
This is the only trick that I remember from my childhood :) When I was really young I thought that it's a real magic...
Back when DC still had passion for what he did. I miss those days.
thx kevin...i have been looking that song for a long time!
I think Copperfields best asset is his ability to be funny and to interact with the crowd.

The first song is from the Fletch soundtrack. I was surprised to hear it here, actually.

when the tie is inside the glass box, no string can help. Just don't know how he could do it. He's got supernatural power
Omg i saw this in vegas and for some reason The guy who took off his tie did the same thing as a volunteer did in vegas SUSPICIOUSSSS.
