I've been digging Motorola's devices late last year & so far this year. I have the Moto G 5G Plus & the Moto 360 3rd gen watch coming in next week. Honestly I'm going to call it now & say the Moto G 5G Plus will be a better budget 5G phone than the OnePlus Nord.
@Google Account for the price & 5G connectivity, I'd say the Moto 5G Plus, even though it's not officially available in the U.S, you can get from Clove for $314 & with 2-3 DHL, it totaled $345. It has all the sub-6 5G bands needed for the U.S. too. I should have it tomorrow or Thursday.
It lags. When you're scrolling and browsing the web you'll experience lag. Youll notice it lag from doing normal things as well. I owned this phone for a couple of days and the performance isn't so good.
I do not understand how your phone lasts that long. I have this phone and I am lucky to get a full two days of use. Unless you just do not use the phone much at all. As a daily driver for me just using snap chat too much drains the phone for me.

Man, that's an amazing phone for the price along with the battery but does it have fast charge? Why do you have so many apps on there? Maybe turn down the light and make sure the screen is black when you allow the phone to sit. You can also use fb and messenger light.. Now I no for a fact that your background screen can drain your battery if it's not a basic background screen.. Your screen saver can drain batter too.. Hopefully this helps.
I have one and even tho it is better than my last phone, it DOES NOT LAST 3 DAYS ON A CHARGE. NOT EVEN CLOSE!! Idk if I am hard on a phone but if it boast of 3 days(72 hours) on a charge I would at the least expect 36 hours. Never got close. So I am ROYALLY upset bc of that. Secondly, I don't have the option to hide some of the annoying apps that came with the phone that I never use. Idk, what I can say good about it. I do know next time I'll stick to LG or Samsung. Never Motorola again! Big disappointment!!

Motorola definitely got something going on with the new line I went with the Moto g stylus but besides the battery they are basically the same phone I think they are the same size also and I just started using it as my daily driver and I have very little complaints after I paid $132.00 brand new 😁
Where did you buy it
@@vincegarcia6422 metro by tmobile but that phone doesn't have Volte so in January it won't work on tmobile anymore
But the wide angle lens on the Stylus only functions in video and will not take wide angle stills. I only mention this so people who enjoy wide angle landscape photography and such know. :-)
Does anyone know how to stop the screen from automatically turning on when you receive notifications or the phone is moved? Seems like the screen constantly turns on when locked at the slightest movement and I can't seem to find a way to turn this off. Can anyone help?
Turn off moto display in the moto features
J, it did seem to drain faster than I expected as well. Did you turn off the printing services in settings yet?
How do you do that??
@@kaszmeirhill8267 settings, connected devices, connection preferences, printing (turn off)
@@jtec99 got it appreciate u... Idk why my phone doesn't seem to hold a battery life. Like it stays on 100% for a good while but then it drains like any other phone there after!!🤦🏾♂
@@kaszmeirhill8267 yeah def something that's running in background
@@jtec99 thanx Bro.
hey dude this is the thing i am goin crazy about for my birthday right now. i am turning 30 years old and in this pandemic is about the only thing i am excited about. everything is really grim it seems. just status of the world. but this video helped me think about the big battery dude
Great review, as Always! Thank you.
It has all the sub-6 5G bands needed for the U.S. too. I should have it tomorrow or Thursday.
.....and I just pre-ordered the Motorola Edge. Again, between OnePlus & Motorola, I love both.
Getting sick of my pixel 3 XL's battery life. You think I would be upset if I swapped to this?
It lags. When you're scrolling and browsing the web you'll experience lag. Youll notice it lag from doing normal things as well. I owned this phone for a couple of days and the performance isn't so good.
Is it possible to make videos on UA-cam and Netflix smaller so the hole punch is not in the picture?
I have redmi 9 . I am happy with the 5020mah battery and this phone has solid performance at this price. I love it ❤️❤️
What's this "9S" phone that he's mentioned in the video?
Its a redimi note 9s
anyone know if this has a "hot spot" ability? thx
I believe so
I do not understand how your phone lasts that long. I have this phone and I am lucky to get a full two days of use. Unless you just do not use the phone much at all. As a daily driver for me just using snap chat too much drains the phone for me.
Mine keeps freezing up and I have to do a force restart. Also. I can't get more than 7 hours sot now.
The 5000 🔋
Sir, what about Sony's new flagship?
Any dif btwn this and g8 power??
No they're basically the same phone
G8 power is international. G power is USA version.
Thinking about getting this my son. Do you know whether or not it's capable of running Fortnite?
Hi brook on behalf of J and permission lol i think it should run fortnite fine without much of a problem since i play cod on the g7 power which has older snap dragons chip and it runs fine exception with call of duty mobile recent updates has been buggy but usually i play fine, i haven't got the g power but in my opinion i plan on getting it myself mainly as we all know battery life lol i recommend it tho good luck on your choice my friend
@@tentai8581 hmmm ok tentai im gonna check it out Myself soon since i got the g power not long ago once im able to install it i will let you know if it runs and how it runs for me since i never played it not that I recall lol
Can you teather with this phone?
and Screencast don't work on this phone. don't leave that out.
Wait, really? I haven't heard of that anywhere. Where did you read that? Or do you have one and experienced that?
Used g7 charger and g8 got hot. Last time I use that
You've probably got 5 days the apps on it than it came with, so yeah I would check for a rogue app. Really appreciate your reviews !!!
Get a wakelock battery app and see what's draining your battery.
But only if it's rooted :-)
I think I just got two of these for free along with a new Google Fi plan. Is that a good deal?
Nah I think u paid to much
Gaming kills the battery hard.
Standby time is great.
Battery drain may be an android 10 issue
Big negative that phone can't be shut off with fingerprint sensor
Please do a redminote 9s follow up ty
Have this phone J and its amazing got it fo 230.00 because I dont have google FI.
Always atleast 10 hours of SOT. Only cons I would say for gaming is playable but you can tell that it ls delayed. Wifi Signal strength was not great would disconnected from Bluetooth too But other than that its was awesome and for that super affordable price. Its a win.
Ps. Also great stereo speakers and modern punch hole design
I don't believe you use that many apps. I just can't believe it.
Bro lol why didn't you just go into the battery usage in settings, it'll straight show you what's draining it lol.
Follow up on the battery drain?
It's great
I just ordered one off Amazon
I got the phone too, I have really weird experience with mine. And I don't like it one bit.
Great phone just got it for free at cricket.
Device should come in for me around Friday. Slow shipping, but patience is a virtue.
Hopefully this helps.
it has a lipo battery, you have to charge them a certain way to preserve life. we use to have to do that in airsoft
if you play it while charging thats really bad for the battery
The Galaxy S phones is king

How is it, any problems, like battery drain over night or anything else ?
Thanks
Its 3 days if you only use it lighly. Also i get like 10 to 12 hours of on acreen time. Its a great phone but if you're just streaming youtube or netflix. You're gonna drain the battery faster.
