The wing surfaced rusted to match the rest of the patina would be sick. Dunk it in the ocean or something to get it to surface rust then clear coat it to keep the look could be an easy way to do it
Ages ago mighty car mods poured beer on a golf to rust the panel very quickly

Yup, no brainer ... painting it wouldn't match the style of the truck.

I suggest paint the wing to match the valve covers or suspension and leave the mounting brackets black. Love this truck man, been watching from the start. Proud to see you grow in skill and the success that followed. Keep shining Craig!

The "Escort " is a Ford EXP. EXP meaning experimental. It is basically a Ford Escort coupe. 2 seats and it's own hatch, not a foxbody hatch grafted on. Mercury had their version called the LN7. There was 2 generation of EXP.
The LN7 had a bubble back hatch similar to the 83-86 Mercury Capri (Fox) that was then used on the 2nd gen EXP.
I think the wing looks good like it is the aluminum color matches the grill in the bumper in the door handles and the windshield room but it is your truck so do whatever you feel what color would be good too maybe that yellowish color on the around the rims and on the headlights to match that or maybe like a rusty looking color to match the rest of the truck or just straight up black but if the wing won't rust I would just leave it like it is just my opinion or the copper color on the rear end like you said that would be cool
The “escort” It has a Audi TT dash, probably Audi underneath, also your f100 is a monster, I think the wing, has too be patina finish like the truck paint, other then that it’s 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Would’nt a tonnea cover improve the air flow to the “wing” ?

If you run the wing, put a bed cover on it. Paint it patina white or black like a bed cover. I'm not crazy about it, but it's not my truck. I respect what you like and make it yours. Kind of miss the junk yard parts searching videos. Your doing great.👍👍👍👍

I’d do the same color as the valve covers or the suspension with black mounts it would leave nice contrast without being too loud of a color change, trucks lookin amazing man I’ve watched this channel for years and it’s amazing to see how much the projects and yourself have changed, as a bump side fanboy myself yours is definitely one of my favorites,keep it up!!!
A ford blue with patina might make the wing pop and stand out some. Either way it’s awesome.

Get a paint marker and do the letters in the tires. Thought that looked slick on the other setup.

Thw wing i think would be sweet paint matched black with the wheels and the yellow strip on the wheels but put the channel name in yellow on back side the wing i think it pop with the yellow and black with the wheels
Put your logo front & back on the spoiler. I think it's what it needs. That truck made your show.

If you want a cheap solution for a trim ring around the lock cylinders, I used a couple of wire grommets out of an Amazon kit. Really cleans that up a little.

You should wrap rhe spoiler like and old plank of wood! It would be unique, goofy, and match the patina!!!
Damn...it...lol.....the raw will stay with the attitude of the truck more than with color covering it up. Just shiny maybe even brushed them cleared

My only constructive criticism would be I get vertigo 🤢 cuz you whip your camera around so fast. Slow er down a tickle. Also bring back the F100 shirt & stickers. 🍻

the escort EXP had 2 different hatches, the flat style like the white one you showed and they also had a bubble style hatch like the bubble hatch fox body Capri. but they dont interchange wuth fox bodys though
Hi Craig, if you did a video on wheel choice of a bumpside would be super popular, there are so many forums about it due to narrower rear track, I mean does it really matter or not, do you go bigger on back by an inch, bigger tyre etc etc. I have been looking for mine just for a standard truck just want to add a bit of bling but it's almost impossible to get any information, it is all so varied ?

Hey brother. On the wing the brackets should be Flat white satin with Flat black satin on the wing. And do they make the new hood emblems and orange marker lights? Just curious. Also don`t they have a black plastic insert for the door lock pulls that goes around it in the door? thanks a lot. That dash in the EXP is a Audi TT the guy below got it
3 options for the wing; gold to match the engine details, maroon to match the rear axle or patina'd to match the truck.
