In June 1972 I came to Thane to work in a chemical dyestuff manufacturing factory.50 years back.Thane was a small industrial town then.I have seen Thane grow slowly but steadily.
Mumbai's normal water itself seems to be taste good the corporation purifies the water and sends it ...... Cost of living is cheap in some places and high in some places... The cost depends upon the area ....

need to clarify few things for you as well as viewers ... in Thane city.. Yes the bus stop is above and auto rickshaw stand is below to avoid and distribute the crowd... One of the most beautiful and coolest cities in India... Approx 35 lakes are in Thane city.. Proud to be a Thane tamilachi......Our govt never loots or has never made water into a commercial commodity.. Municipal water is drinkable and good in taste.
