Sambar Deer Hind Rubbing Tree Without Antlers!?

Rubbing her skull, neck eyes and face over this well used pine rub tree, this sambar deer hind shows that its not only the male deer which communicate by sign posting and scent.
We haven't seen this too commonly with female deer, but it must occur from time to time.
