Thank you guys at smkw for sharing with us Case knife days with Case the most iconic brand of knife in America still USA made and Strong Thanks Case for kicking it with us
That was one heck of great time. Wish I was there. Great job on getting that Case Stockman buffed out! Eddie and Kevin were a complete and total hoot! It was great to see Brian and his knife! That Razor Trapper was super cool. It needs to come back! Tyler's knife is cool but Kevin and the Rattlesnake/Barbed wire trapper was over the top. I think I need a Candy Corn Russlock and Blue Crackle Medium Toothpick! Really great show.
Great event between SMKW and Case! Two great companies and for my money, I will continue to support both. Wish that I could have been there. God bless you guys.
What a great video. Sure wish i could have been there. I really going to try and make it next year for sure. Thank goodness they only made the Mediterranean ivy a 3 pattern family so i wont have to break the bank getting it. Cause i have the sea dragon and pb&j family 😂
I really wish yall would have invited me out to do sharpening for people at the event! I would have happily donated the time. Would have been a lot of fun!
I dont really get all yhese guys whining about QC. Ive bought quite a frw the last couple years or so and i don't have any big complaints. Once or twice I questioned the quality of the sharpening job but fit and finish have been fine.
I've worn out and lost an awful number of case trappers. My son jokes that some day he'll start mining them on the ranch. Not to mention the ungodly number of hours I spent with a SMKW catalog ever since I was young
Greetings TC, What wonderful event ... TC I have a one interested question. I live in Puerto Rico I remember my grandfather having a yellow trapper back in the 70's which he used to cut fruits. Know my question is there any sales records of case sold in Puerto Rico? They were military base all over the island. I would like to know if sold to islanders or sold on base?
I love case knives but Im holding off buying more until they communicate to us what they are going to do about there quality control. I’m tired of opening up new case knives that look worse than china made knives. After they tell the world what they are actively doing to fix the manufacturing problems I will start buying case knives again.
Case should really have a laser focus on "Traditional" knives, especially with bone handles, that's what they excel at. Not sure why they are breaking into other styles. How about some more bone handle variants of the Large Copperlock, already have the Sky Blue!!
I think most people that carry these either have enough knives with "super steels", or don't need the edge retention of a super steel. The carbon steel Case knives I have have been holding an edge for a good amount of time no problem.
Until they fix the fit and finish problem I won’t buy another one , the case knife seem to be make in pakistan ,, I know that you see the complaints and do nothing

🙌🙌🙌
I love my Case Big Texas Jacks. I wish they were still made. Of the current patterns, the Barlow and the Copperhead patterns are my favorites.
What an Awesome event! I'm not a really into knives that don't lock, but if I was id carry a Case.
Several Case knives do have locks smkw.com/case-pw-old-red-corn-jigged-mini-cpprlk-10307
Looks like it was an excellent day! Thanks for sharing some of the day's fun!
🙌🙌🙌
Had a great time. Saw my mom sitting on the porch. The lady that won the prototype was so nice we talked forever in line to get our event items.
Case needs to compete with Rough Rider on QC, because RR is way in the lead. I hate saying that but for the price and the issues…well, it’s just sad.

Keep an eye out for the 2025 dates!
Very good video
Thanks for watching Nathan!
Hey Case . . . fix your QC issues please
Maybe you can ask Case knives why most of their new knives aren't sharp and why you can see through the springs and handles on most of their knives?
I dont really get all yhese guys whining about QC. Ive bought quite a frw the last couple years or so and i don't have any big complaints. Once or twice I questioned the quality of the sharpening job but fit and finish have been fine.
Case QC employees were transferred to the marketing department! LOL

I love to carry my case knives. But they are really lacking on their steel. Behind the time.

Wish they would "take the burrs off" at the factory before the package them.
Until they fix the fit and finish problem I won’t buy another one , the case knife seem to be make in pakistan ,, I know that you see the complaints and do nothing
great video! 🙂👍
Thanks for watching!
Every Case knife I ever bought…which is few…has terrible blade finish. As if they sharpen the blade and leave the rest with zero polish
When did the Parker family stop being in partnership with smk
Please bring back tang stamps. The tang etchings look and feel cheap
Yes, please bring back tang stamps. It feels cheap and in my opinion degrades the quality of the knife substantially.
A pull through sharpener to finish you gotta be kidding me smfh
Her hair hanging down amd blowing in the wind around that spinning buffing wheel making anyone else nervous????
I was thinking the very same thing
Missed the Dragon.
Case ought to be ashamed with some of the poor quality knives they let slip through their "quality control".
