This doesn't seem possible. According to theories from Filipino internet users, one Filipino soldier is supposedly capable of holding off a hundred Chinese soldiers. Fact about the Guzheng instrument… The guzheng became prominent during the Qin dynasty (221-206 BC). By the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD) the guzheng may have been the most commonly played instrument in China. The design of the Guzheng instrument originated in China and quickly travelled to Japan to become the koto, Korea to become the gayageum, Mongolia to become the yatga, and Vietnam to end up a đàn tranh. All of these instruments are built and played similarly but they serve very different purposes in the music of each culture. A guzheng is also quite similar to another Chinese zither, called a guqin (古琴). The essential difference is that our guzheng features around 18 or 21 moveable bridges underneath its strings, where the guqin has none. Both versions are known for the unique depth of their string resonance.
There are many theories, but zither string instruments existed on the Korean Peninsula even before interacting with China. As an Asian American (Chinese) I am just smiling so much right now, seeing how she is bringing such a beautiful cultural instrument from China around the world to share its beauty and the absolute talent the Guzheng or Guqin instrumentalists are. My parents were thinking of buying a Guzheng to bring back to America with us - shame we didn't. It's truly a majestic instrument.
Recently there’s a lot of ambitious works that combines traditional Asian instruments and music style into Western music and a lot of them work surprisingly well. I hope that these cultural instruments can be used more in future works.
@뭘보노 you do know that it literally said 古筝 which is guzheng in English in the title right? And yes guzheng( Chinese) , koto (Japanese) and Gayageum (korean) all looks very similar, I think it is because they came from a same roots. All the the instrument above is from a few thousand years back. I don’t know if it is true but I think the original root is guzheng except it looks very different from the one we see now.

Super cool! Love this asian people during Covid have gotten so much hate it’s time to start respecting them their culture and everyone I hope we can all love each other and understand it was no ones fault it could have happened anywhere, and we shouldn’t take it out on the Asian Community, very beautiful
Thanks for posting will share with my friends :) you are very incredibly talented.

Every time I hear this wonderful lady and her renditions of western pop music, I just want to hear more and more of her!
😂
Yes,me too
I always thought this instrument was mythical when I saw them in movies.
Absolute scenes ♥️

This instrument was invented 2500 years ago in China.
This is impressive! Her skills, the way she chose to interpret the song, this is great!
The best version I have heard. I also love watching her give herself over to her music, just awe-inspiring to watch.
I don't know why but whenever I hear this instrument my eyes start to water and I get warm sensations through my spine. Thank you youtube algorithm.

哇~~~ 碰碰不只琴藝更精進~ 就連整個服裝化妝髮飾也更提升了ㄟ!!!!
The harmony and vibrancy is beautiful to the ears! Traditional Chinese instrument mixed with western music, who would have thought it would work 👏👏👏
Recently there’s a lot of ambitious works that combines traditional Asian instruments and music style into Western music and a lot of them work surprisingly well. I hope that these cultural instruments can be used more in future works.
It always has work, my guzheng teacher always gave me English pop music scores
@뭘보노 you do know that it literally said 古筝 which is guzheng in English in the title right? And yes guzheng( Chinese) , koto (Japanese) and Gayageum (korean) all looks very similar, I think it is because they came from a same roots. All the the instrument above is from a few thousand years back. I don’t know if it is true but I think the original root is guzheng except it looks very different from the one we see now.
@@Randomweirdogirl Don’t worry too much about these people, they just want to start fights for no reason, they have no evidences to back themselves up and also they won’t listen to your explanation and will just insult you. I’ve had similar experiences on other channels.

The song, her clothes, her playing that instrument… all so beautiful 😍
What's the name of the instrument?
@@geybrieldelrosario8951 Guzheng
This proves that musical genres have no boundaries. Whether it is classical, traditional or western/modern music. There's always place between those genres that we can unify to create harmonious melody with respect of their styles ang usage.
I believe the average person no matter the nationality or political party wants the same thing. Just to live and let live. It's the leaders that lust after power and control.
Beautifully said guys :)
Attractive sounds perfect 🥰
No one donates any money ? She needs to live! She’s Beautiful and fantastic playing.
She is rich
To afford this instrument and the dress and the lesson to play is already rich enough tho 🤣
Maybe they were waiting for another performance before donating 😅

You watch the video and you are donating bro........So nice music
Uffffffffff, mir fehlen die Worte, einfach nur berauschen schön das Lied für "Paul" auf so ein Instrument zu hören.
Schöne Grüsse aus der Stadt Wismar an der Ostsee.

This is remarkable, not the congesting big crowd, but the fusion of East meet West. Couldn't imagine how a music arranger like you produced such a great piece, honestly, I recognized a born talent on Earth resides in France and did so...

First time ever watching, knowing how this instrument sounds and that it is really played with such hand motions as we have always seen in Chinese movies/ dramas . I used to think they just exaggerate hand movements to accentuate the scene..silly me... this is an eye opener. . 👏👏👏👏
I love how at the beginning the kids were immediately drawn to the sound of the music.
