I attempted this and now my flash won’t work at all and the cameras work by have black lines going across the screen at like a 6hz rate. DO NOT attempt this, disassemble the phone down the frame at then you can use as much heat as you want. This is just asking to break your phone.

NEVER USE GLASS PUNCH WITH MOTHERBOARD STILL IN THE PHONE. youre asking for wifi and service issue or just straight up boot looping after repair. If you have the tools to do this repair properly take out at least the main components before applying heat or using glass punch
Incorrect never use the wrong glass puncher. Use the one that I showed you. And obviously you do have to avoid the soft spot every phone has them you just have to know what’s underneath.

You are 1000% correct, had to fix some because techs near me don't know how to fix the back glass lol.
@TechMDUA-cam I've done thousands of back glass replacements with lasers, heat and solvents. Every single method is best done with the components removed to avoid damage. You are asking for major issues if you do not. The kinetic energy of your punch absolutely will send shock waves through the sandwich board that can cause solder joints to separate. Also the 450 degrees of heat can and will degrade the lithium ion battery. Even trying to deny this is just retarded and shows your lack of scientific knowledge and ignorance in refusal to learn just to save some time and maximize your profits. It's also not called "Captains tape" it's "Kapton tape". Jesus christ.
