当今如日中天的拉脱维亚次女高音演唱家艾琳娜.嘉兰查 (Elina Garanca), 用她那美若玫瑰, 强如利剑的美声, 把这两首较冷门的圣母颂, 演绎得慑人心魄, 催人下泪。第一首圣母颂改编自意大利作曲家皮埃特罗•马斯卡尼(Pietro Mascagni)的歌剧《乡村骑士》中的间场曲《Intermezzo》。其后由P. Mazzoni谱上歌词而成为这首凄美的圣母颂。第二首圣母颂出自一位直布罗陀的吉他名师 William Gomez, 他在2000年于临终前哀切祷告时作, 歌词以传统的圣母经略作修改而成。现已成为一首感人至深的, 在欧洲广为流传的教堂圣乐。这两首超凡入圣的歌曲, 由嘉兰查那灵性十足的嗓子去演绎, 旋律有如来自天堂的清风, 洗涤了我们的心灵。

The first piece is the Intermezzo from the Opera, Cavalleria Rusticana by P Mascagni, the second is the Ave Maria by William Gomez, both are breathtakingly beautiful. Elina is enchanting.
