- Awesome combination slow-moving dark ride/ transport/ scenic railway. One of the best historical slow-moving rides I've done. An old ride and incredible views and fun little scenes in between. 100+ years old.
This was the first and original attraction in the Tibidabo Park and was totally renovated in 2016 to incorporate virtual features using the latest technology: holograms, virtual environments, maps, LEDS and real-view projections. Originally opened in 1915, this was the Park’s first big attraction, and was at that time called The Aerial Railway. Later, with the various renovation work, it was renamed Aeromàgic, Witches and Wizard's Den and now Embruixabruixes. 🧙♀️ #tibidabo #spain #thingstodo #rides #pov

Tibidabo Ride POV, Embruixabruixes, one of many rides for the whole family, a bit scary.
It's a ride from 1915!! in 1991 it was renamed "Aeromagic" in its best retheming (a bit dark and scary), in 2005 was named "witches store" with a more childish theming, and in 2016 the latest theming is a remixed version. The best part is the Barcelona views and the light and dark contrast.
Ok, now I’m curious. We have any video of the other themings?
@@KettouRyuujin not from the Aeromagic that I could find, but there are some videos of the "Witches and Wizards' Warehouse" (as it would be translated in English).
The video from Tibifans is good quality if I remember it well. Just search "Magatzem de les bruixes i els bruixots", and you should find something :)
what a fun surprise in the dark. reminds me of Willy Wonka's boat in the tunnel scene!!
i haven't seen anything that unusual since I was put under with anesthesia to have my wisdom teeth removed.
Haha!
This is cool, I've never heard of this ride.
Nice to see this is still around. We used to visit Barcelona once every year on our holidays, and we always ended the day with a visit to Tibidabo. Must be over 40 years ago since I was there last...
tibidabo is such a funky litle park
Very cleaver dark ride. Love it!
Thanks 4 sharing this video with me. I never been to Spain before . This ride is so cool and unique. Love it it’s way too cool.😊😊😊✌️✌️🤟🤟
Really exciting ride on a hanging monorail if I was there I would do a ride on it really exciting.
Good Morning, and welcome to the Black Mesa Transit System...

Almost like a shrooms trip
I actually think this is beautiful.

COOL!! ❤❤
It’s just weird this ride, I love it 😂
What a very good and unusual and interesting looking ride and I wish that we could have that ride in the UK 🇬🇧.😊
I love this! ♥
Weird and disjointed and wonderful!
This ride is longer than any ride I've seen thus far. Epic!
Different type of ride, like it!!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Love this ride❤I would definitely get on this looks so fun my dream vacation one day in life
That was impressive.
like the boat ride in willy wonka
Yes! 🤣🤣🤣
This was like one of my cheese and pickled onion dreams... and I'm totally there for it! 🤗😅
That’s a part of Barcelona I didn’t get to see. And yes Barcelona is in Spain.
Barcelona and Catalonia is ocupet for spain.
@@MiquelPauRocaApariciojajaja, suelta el azadón y coge un libro de historia. Y no sabes ni escribir. 😂
Saying that Barcelona is in Spain is really important to be able to understand the video, of course...
Most heart-stopping jumpscare on any ride anywhere!
And they have clearly toned it down. In the previous iteration (Magatzem de les bruixes) the actor would literally JUMP on the vehicle and scare kids from different angles. Plus it had a much darker tone. Truly terrifiying! So many ruined childhoods! ❤
@@oriolat2 it was far better then! I really had a love-hate relation with that jumpscare Guri-Guri xd
Gorgeous ride, but since I'm afraid of heights, I'd have to pass.
Tell bob igar at Disney world he should build an attraction like this.
Change of pace 😊
Dose it have any drops
So sad, we didnt drive this, because when we were there, it was too stormy, cold und too much people in the park. It was an desaster! 😢
😊
whouai !
What a very strange bizzare ride. 🤨
I always love these quaint little rides that kept their own charm. Where was the lady who said hola hola to you and why were you starteld? Just out of curiosity. :P
No clue never really saw her! She was to the left in the dark, must have been just a foot away from us peeking through a hole in the wall or something. Quite the startle.
@@AmusementInsider Guri-Guri (the name the locals use) is on the left, usually with a flashlight, scaring guests.
Lately Guri-Guri has been more chill with the scareness, years ago it was basically a jumpscare jajajaja. The old ride theme also led to that jumpscare through its story, so it had more tension built up before.
The scariest time for me was one day when the scare came from the right instead of the left, never even thought about that posibility before xd
Seriously ? Why did you cover up the ending of the video with those awful end cards.? What were the people responding to?
WILL. YOU. DESIST.
What is that thing at 2:42?
Telecommunications tower. Been next to the park since 1992
Is there a point to this ride?
When it first opened it was just the Ferrocarril Aeri (Aerial Railway) with no other point but the views. In the 90s it was rethemed to Aeromagic, with a bizarre theme there's almost no footage about ('I can't tell you what the story was, if it had one).
In the early 2000s it became the Magatzem de les Bruixes i els Bruixots (the Witches and Wizards' Warehouse). There's lots of POV footage of this iteration of the ride. The story was that a small elf/goblin helped you get into the warehouse to explore the magic stuff the witches kept inside. In the end, a witch (real actor) found you and jumpscared you in the dark with a lantern xd.
I don't know if this was new or it was already in the attraction before this theme. But it was so iconic they maintained it for this newer iteration, Embruixabruixes. This one is similar to the Warehouse: a witch shows you how they live in the mountain. But it lacks the tension that the former built up through its storytelling up to the jumpscare. It is also heavily screenbased, while all previous iterations had lots of physical effects.
In my opinion, they shouldn't have got rid of the Warehouse.
jump jump jump jump jump😂
How much for five minutes ride?
The general ticket (+120cm) for the hole Tibidabo park is 35€. Single attraction tickets are only avaible for 5 rides, this one not being one of them.
your end card block whatever is happening at the end of the video
I don't understand, what's this video about?? That one video looks like Disney Theme or something to go in the dark like, hm??? 🤔
It's a POV of the attraction called Embruixabruixes, located at the Tibidabo amusement park, at the highest hill of Barcelona.
Theoretically, there's no relation to Disney, but the ride designers may have taken ideas from there for this retheme (the attraction is actually from 1915, but this theeming dates from 2017).
Also, the reverse occured too. Disney visited this park when planning for Disneyland to take inspiration from them. He even tried to buy the automaton collection, but the park refused to sell (it is said that Disney gave them a blank check to buy them).
yeah. I don't think this has either Disney or Universal running scared.
🤣🤣🤣😭🤣🤣
Actually, Disney tried to buy the automata collection of the park in the 50s. It's said that he gave a blank check, but the park refused to sell. It's nowadays considered one of the best collections in the world.
But yeah, this ride has seen lots of downgrades, it was better before :(
I don't know, what if a wheel bearing breaks or it comes off track.. you are that high in the air with no track under you. No thanks, I'm good.
It's been there since 1915, with not a single accident. I doubt it'd ever fall xd
Looks extremely unexciting. Watching it was boring me to death
😂
Half life game
Whoever made this ride must have been on drugs.😂
💮🏳️🌈🇪🇸🇪🇺
Barcelona is not spain
🫣
I know it's Catalonia but belongs to Spain !
Superimportant information for anyone watching this video, of course...
Well, that was rather underwhelming.😴
not every ride goes upside down . . relax
