I think I just gained 2 lbs watching y'all eating! 😋 Thanks for an interesting video of a country where I was several years ago, never been to Hanoi but much further south.
Haha :) if you have a chance you should definitely check out Hanoi, it’s a beautiful city with SUCH GOOD FOOD (although this is just the start of our time in Vietnam, so I bet the whole country has amazing food) :) thanks for watching eddy :)
a guided private food tour, what a great idea guys! I'll be honest here, some of the food just does not look that delicious but now thanks to your video I won't be afraid to try it if I ever have the chance :-) The egg coffee on the other hand looks amazing! Another awesome video!!! Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you for the nice comment! We’re really happy we did the food tour, for sure would not have known what to try and eat. Some of the best food from our travels was in Hanoi. Thanks for watching! 😊
I've seen a lot of food tours in Vietnam, but I think Hanoi hands-down has the best tour guides. I really like that she showcased so many different types of food, a couple of which many guides haven't shown like xoi (sticky rice) and the glass noodle ones. I think more sticky rice should be shown to foreigners along with banh cuon. :) I've side-eyed guides whom show the pomela dessert soup, but after she explained it, I now have an appreciation for why she has it in her line up. I would recommend doing a few more from different operators within Hanoi if you're still uncertain so you can get a feel for the food there ("Flora and Note", "Sammy and Tommy", "This Food Bangz", and "MomDuty" all had great food tours in Hanoi). Other good tour guides include the one "Chase and Shelbs" used in HCMC and "Steph and Pete" used in Hoi An.
Thanks for watching, we agree it was really awesome to try foods we would never have found on our own and not the traditional dishes that come up when you look up vietnamse food. We will look into the other for HCMC and Hoi An, thanks!
Made me hungry too! Another great video
