The first time i see it, i had the feeling that it was the piston thats stucked! For whatever reason. Maybe overheat that it damages the O-ring and the combustion affected the bore of the cylinder.
Hello Sir, I'll say 05/05/05 is the new luck of the Craftsman. So yeah like the clover is luck of Irish.☘️ I got nice 2542 cub cadet given to me with Kohler command horizontal it's locked or something haven't tore n it yet. Had new batt and starter on it. It's n excellent shape looks like they cleaned after every use . Has nice captains chair ,shaft drive. Hope to get it going give it to my dad. Well love video stay safe. From ur ole hillbilly Buddy.
If they ran it oil dry, cylinder may have developed rust from valve being open letting humid air in over long period of time. Rings hard to slide up a rough surface.
metal-on-metal parts without lubrication results almost immediately in excess heat and wear of the parts. Running an engine without oil, even for just a short time, almost certainly means you will be needing a new engine. Bummer.
Me thinks you did that the hard way, I agree with myrtlelittle413 first thing is remove the spark plug lub the cylinder before trying to break it free. I would have pulled the head before removing the side cover but hind sight is always 20/20. lol
First thing to do on any stale engine is remove the spark plug and soak the cylinder before attempting to rotate.
Soak it with what or which mix ????
I'm still working on my engine but I had some success with spraying PB BLASTER - USE THE ENTIRE CAN
@@Lalomalo_solidinca soak it with "miracle oil" you can buy it in automotive supply stores.
Pull the spark plug and squirt some lube oil in the combustion chamber.
Like how you washed everything before working on it. Easier to work on clean.
Take that spark plug out next time see if it turns easier.
