Pink is so underrated despite having been consistently spitting out bangers longer than most artists from the 00’s. She’s been like a fine wine and hasn’t let it all change her one bit. I have nothing but respect and love for her and her music.

The whole "who's going to win, Pink, Britney, or Xtina," feud of the 90s was so dumb. In the end, us, the fans won, because we were EATING when it came to pop culture moments. And the fact that 30 years later, they're still so relevant and making music is just icing on the cake.
out of these, I definitely related to Family Portrait the most, since I come from a broken family and was old enough to understand what was going on. The fighting was bad enough, but the silence was worse. Some other Pink songs I'd love to see your reaction to would be Dear Mr. President which she wrote as on open letter to George W. Bush about the war and his time in office. Also, Perfect and sober are some of my favorites besides Just give me a reason.
I've heard Perfect and Just Give Me A Reason, but I'll certainly do Sober next! 😊

Nice reaction. Part 2: There you go and most girls. Her first 2 singles. With those two singles most people thought she was a light skinned black woman. So different with the rest of her music. She is an icon.
She is the BEST singer, songwriter, performer! To not know who she is you have to be living under a rock. Fun house, sober, raise my glass are my favorites from her. Family portrait hits too close to home. It sounds like my life with my ex and kids. Made me realize my family was the only one that was messed up. Domestic violence is no joke

THE MOST UNDERRATED POP ARTIST OF THE 2000S. Her songs had always substance and a powerful message paired with her incredible soul/rock voice , she is such a legend.
There are so few people reacting to her music which i think is a shame. Some songs to include in part 2 for me would be "Sober" , "U+Ur Hand" , "Most Girls"
Since you're more familiar with her newer stuff, my picks for a part 2 are older. Please check out "There You Go," "Most Girls," "You Make Me Sick," and "Don't Let Me Get Me."
First album was epic👏👏
I would say "There you go", "You make me sick", "Get the party started", "Nobody Knows", "Don't let me get me", "Just give me a reason", "Try", and " Blow me one last kiss"(color version), "I don't believe you" are all good songs & videos to react to. Then again all her songs are good.
oh my gosh! when I was a kid I remember watching Please Don't Leave Me music video and having so much fun (and thinking this lady P!nk is a crazy woman)
To echo your point, Pink has a way of singing her pain in such a clear visceral way. It’s so relatable and recognizable. I love bad ass Pink, and I love good time party Pink, but Pink in pain is unmatched. (Performance wise. Not personally. I don’t want her to be in pain in real life. Quite the contradiction, eh?)

In the “Funhouse” video there are a “Elvis”-sign. It’s for her dog that died in her pool a few years ago (the same dog that she has a tattoo-portrait of on her arm). Or I believe that’s how the dog died.
The song “Family Portrait” are about her own childhood. Linda Perry help her with that album and in a documentary about P!nk it’s said that Perry gave her a microfone and told her to sing what was on her mind and about 20 min and a lot of tears later the song was made.
I have 2 personal favorit P!nk songs:
1) Get the party started (because it was my introduktion to P!nk, and I have loved her since that song came out in 2001)
2) Just Like Fire
But there are so many wounderful songs 🥰
“Don’t let me get me”, “Just like a pill”, “So what”, “Cover me in sunshine”, “All I know so far”, “Dear Mr. President”, “Conversations with my 13 year old self”, “Respect” and many MANY more!

Who knew was my fav of these! That and U+UR Hand were my two favs when they came out. Funhouse came out when I was in high school and it was so fun to drive around blasting that album. My other fav of hers is Don’t Let Me Get Me! If you haven’t heard that one, you should listen some time🥰

Who knew is my absolute fav pink song, i lost my best friend suddenly in tragic circumstances, he knew how ill he was but didnt tell any of us his closest friends. I say friend he was more like my brother, nothing has been the same since. His family explained he didnt want us to know how bad things had got as he didnt want us to treat him any different, with us he could be himself, the happy go lucky, free loving, joker of the group who always had me on the floor laughing. I felt so angry at first that he didnt tell me but now it just hurts as i still miss him every day and its been 11 years last week since his death. This song resonates with me because he did visit me in my sleep but i dont think i was dreaming, i think it was real as i wasnt coping with his death at that time, when he visited me we talked, i was able to ask him the questions i needed answered and once he said goodbye i woke and felt some relief from my grief. This song i sing at the top of my lungs to him in heaven like ren sings freckled angels for joe, very similar but also very different pain
Please Don't Leave Me and Funhouse are from the 2008 album of the same name. She originally wanted to call that album "Heartbreak is a Morherf**ker!" but her label rejected it for obvious reasons 😂
That album was created/inspired by her divorce from Carey so they do all carry a similar theme.

I heard who knew was about how pink lost a friend or lover and they died I could be wrong but with how much emotion is in the song I believe it's true

I love P!nk. So often she seems to be singing me (overtone of "Killing Me Softly"). Linkin Park is the same. They find topics that are fairly universal and then sing with such emotion.
