I love everything about this gate but the swing. I need a gate that can open outwards. Is that even possible with these hinges?I don't really want the ugly steel hinges showing on the outside either.

1 1/2" stainless steel, ring-shanked siding nails installed with a siding nailer that you can rent if you don't own one. Stainless steel because the don't bleed like galvanized, and ring-shanked so they don't pull out. Screws look super tacky, not recommended.

To each his own, I’ve been building all wood gates forever, if you build it right, and set the posts in the ground correctly, to eliminate sitting in wet soil with proper drainage, they will outlast the cheap garbage 5/8” cedar pickets that we are all nailing onto the rails. You’re family does nice work my friend, not trying to provide negative vibes. Just saying that steel is not the end all answer.

I'm 60k in debt due to a recent death in the family and a failed family business. Any video's for someone living in Florida area would really help because I just can't afford much with current inflation.
