Delta Stryker 4.5-30×56 first thoughts.

I was sent up one of the Delta Strykers for a review/overview/play. Initial thoughts and a couple of comments.
It’s a very nice scope - and going to be hard to beat for the price. Is it truly top tier though?

I agree with the British Scope reviewer, Richard Utting. He was the first person I found who reviewed the Stryker when it first came out and I found his review was spot on. The Delta Stryker cannot be beat at the price and it is better than many higher priced scopes. The glass is fantastic. Delta has found a way to make Japanese HD glass more like the best German glass. The Stryker glass can cut through the haze and fog where typical Japanese white and bright glass has problems. I’ve had my Stryker for a few years now and it has been flawless. I had high expectations and it certainly lived up to them. I find it is still an unknown to many other shooters, but when they try my scope out at the range they’re always amazed by two things; the glass and the price. The turrets are completely reliable even out to their limits, something that even many more expensive scopes have problems with. It is a 34 mil tube, tactical scope with a 56 mil objective lens, so it’s not a featherweight, but it’s a very compact scope so it can do double duty as a hunting scope as long as you don’t mind the extra weight.

I just purchased this scope and she is sitting on my Anschutz 22 wmr. This scope has schott glass, and that's best in business. Its such a great picture when you look at your target. Just beautiful. Love this scope

I thought it was Japanese glass ? I didn’t think it was Schott glass??

You also need a tool to use the parallax. A wrench. Why does no one talk about how stiff the parallax is. It is way too stiff and uncomfortable to use. I have 3 of these and that is my only issue with it. That is probably where they saved the money...

Low Light really bad on the stryker hd and the new Javelin. other than that, really good scopes
