ポールさん、 面白い内容ですね。 Thank you for showing an interesting approach. Some day I will try to capture the Milky Way exactly following your approach. 😊 Unfortunately I do not know when at this point.😅
Awesome and very detailed. Thanks a lot, Paul for the great time there in Jogashima where we can see the Milky Way with the naked eye. Hope to see you next time. All the best, Zune
Thanks Zune. It was great fun to join you there. I hope someday my Milky Way photos and Timelapse videos will become as gorgeous as yours! You are still the Master!
@@jpastroguy Thank you! You had great photos! I think your approach worked well. Otherwise, you could make separate photos for the foreground and background and combine them afterwards to get a more balance image. Have a great Obon time!
Thank you! I guess, you may be able to do it already with the software you are using. Just give it a try. Only, you are combining many more images than others do to just make a photo.@@jpastroguy
Im planning a trip to Japan in October, and had planned to go to Shiromaru to try take photos of the milkyway (on Kazumakyō Bridge). But now i've heard there are bears that may roam around Okutama, have you ventured out there / are there any risk of seeing bears in the area you shot? Thanks :)
Oh, wow! Sounds like an interesting plan. I have been to Okutama several times during the day, and never seen any bears. But I have never been there overnight, so I don't know. As for any other areas I have been for astrophotography; no. But, I have stayed mostly near the coast and not much inland. The only protection I carry with me is a super-high decibel horn to scare any animals (mostly concerned about wild boars). Whether it would work on a bear, I hope to never find out! Keep me posted on your trip is you want to meet up. Clear skies!

Very impressive and great images!
Thank you Matthias. I am happy with the results despite the simplistic approach. I think it is a reasonable method for beginners of Milky Way imaging.

I am not that talented with photo-processing to combine portions of images. But you are right. Best wishes!
