Wow, never seen this game in my life, but I loved the PSX. These graphics look so good compared to what I normally saw on that platform. Probably twice the polycount of the average PSX ge, for characters at least. And at 60fps!
This game brings me great memories from my childhood. The intro music is soooo catchy! Got this one as a birthday present and I got hooked right away. Superb graphics for the time, fluent gameplay, huge roster, fun game modes, top notch music. They should make a remake :)
There's also a secret character called mark who looks like Zamazu with baby's outfit. Udan the final boss, is probably the inspiration for champa since his face looks so chumpy, also same VA as baby and quitela

I wish I played this game, it actually looks good judging by how smooth the game play. Tobal 1 sucked so badly, it was hard to enjoy that game. The sequel looks better, and unfortunately couldn't play it because the US release wasn't available at the time.
ah thx for reminding me. Kensei was view a little like a poor mans verion of Tekken but i liked it. not as "floaty" as Tekken. i liked Tobal 2 aswell. very smooth gameplay

I loved this game so much! I spent hours and hours paying all modes and customizing the characters :)
