I grew up Christian but the religion never aligned with me but when I happened to stumble upon Buddhism I felt peace come over me. This is after studying about other religions as well. Buddhism just aligned more with me.
About 17:48 into the ceremony May winds and rains be favorable, May this country and every country’s in the world be at peace. In cities and rural areas , may all follow the way of bright (not sure what is said here). May nature be safe May people in society be equal and at ease. May the refreshing breeze of compassion enter into this worlds upheat, Allowing the sun of wisdom to shine clearly in the cloudy sky. So the path of liberation is officiated (I think that’s what’s said?) everywhere.
@@evanb.6663 Actually it's polytheistic. If you disagree, look up figures like Vasudhara, Guan Yin, Amitabha, Acala, I could go on for ages. I am a Mahayana Buddhist convert, trust me I have done research. It's a polytheistic religion with prayers, blessings etc. It's just that in the west they downplay the role of gods in the religion.
