Hey I have another question for you guys regarding the Mystic Portal location card. When it says to exchange for a card in the "discard pile," what exactly are you referring to? Is it mortals from the mortal deck you are playing with or mortals that were never used to create the mortal deck in the first place?
Hey guys I have a question. Should there always be just one mortal at the end of every round that gets away? We have been playing with 4 players and it's been a common occurrence for 3 mortals to get away at the end of the second round. Am I doing the setup wrong? Should we be dealing out the last three mortals even though it wouldn't match up the number of current players?
So I just realized that I shouldn't be discarding ALL mortals that get away at the end of the rounds (or nights). Only the assistants get discarded. Oops! That's been making the rounds shorter since I end up discarding the mortals when they don't equal the number of players in the game (i.e. three mortals left when there are four people playing). Thankfully the game has still been super fun! Perhaps this could be seen as a potential variant rather than a screw-up LMAO.
