Hey, does anyone know what is that box with antenna and flashing LED lights on the dashboard of the driver's cab? Some kind of transponder or something..? I've seen same type of boxes in all train cabs, now it would be interesting to know what it actually is...🤔
An interesting tidbit: this train until 2015 was run with JR Central KiHa 25 and KiHa 75 diesel multiple unit (DMU) train sets. In March 2015, they enabled 1,500 volt DC overhead power, and now JR Central runs 313 and 315 Series train sets between Nagoya and Taketoyo.

武豊線内は、各駅停車する区間快速。
電化される前は、名古屋ー武豊間をディーゼル列車が直通運転してました。
武豊線は、JR（旧国鉄）の中でもかなり歴史がある路線。
途中の亀崎駅の駅舎は、一節によると、日本最古らしい。
また、半田駅にかつて存在した跨線橋も歴史が長く、相当貴重な物でした。
昔、熱田～大府が通学区間だった為、凄く懐かしいです
