What a fantastic boat!
There's a promo sale video on UA-cam from July 2020 for this boat with the same clip on Lake Como. I know the guy he bought it from. He raced on the Continent back in the '70s. He bought it off the 2nd driver, Del Toro, I think. Del Toro wasn't the one who set the record in '53. I follow F1 but I'd never heard of this crazy boat until the owner showed me a video of himself driving it in front of his home on Lake Como. That was 2011 +/-. He also owned both of the first CAN-AM Shelby Mustangs which won the championship in '67. He'd turned million $+ offers for those cars. Collectors are different.
He's a business owner in California, a great guy and had a great crew. You'd never figure he had that kind of money. Best mechanic I ever had.
It would be awesome to hear the boat, and not dollar store epic music, and some guy with melanomas.
