Amy and Doug . Thank you so much for your videos!! You’re wonderful people. You’re caring and sharing is incredibly wonderful… Thank you so much! Being from milbank soon to move back, please continue your videos! There’s a lot of us @ Lockheed Martin California that watch them! Go figure. It’s a long story
Farm moms and wives are the best. I used to look forward to seeing her car pull into the approach and pop open the trunk. We always ate very well and it was much appreciated!
I worked on a farm from 14 to 18. Cathy the owners wife would make us lunch all the time! I once told her if farming ever went away she could open a restaurant!
Honestly, Amy, your videos are so relaxing. For me, im very high stressed with work and just life in general, its nice to unwind for 24 Minutes, and just relax with you and Dougo. Thank you!!!!!
Dougo reminds me of all the stuff you have to constantly do as a home owner. There is always something to change or fix, plus as a house ages there's always something lol. You and Dougo are so funny together, and it's nice how more comfortable he is with you on the camera. Thanks for sharing your time with us. G-d bless.
Amy that’s a nice shirt that Dougo is wearing. He’s a good plumber as well. You two are an amazing couple. Loved the video! Take care and have a good one!👍❤️🙏
Thanks for another great video Amy and Dougo. It was interesting and most enjoyable. Very relaxing for those of us on this end!!!!!!! Love that shirt Dougo!!!!!!!😅 Amy, you and Dougo were talking about Grandma Larson and all she did for the workers at harvest time and all she did anytime. I “Love” those kind of stories about the family history. Just so interesting. Bless her for all she did for you both and preparing all that food for the crews. My guess is she just did it being on the farm and never thought about it otherwise. Reminds me of my grandmother!!!!!!! Thanks for telling those stories!!!!!!! Now back to plumbing and yard fungus and lawn mowing and bugs and spiders and lots of projects. Oh my. You are suppose to relax on the weekend. But I do understand. About it I guess. Super fun and relaxing video today. Really enjoyed it. Both of you take care. My blessings to you both!!!!!!! The Iowa farm boy. Steve. 😊😊👍👋🙏💕💕🇺🇸🇺🇸
Used to live in Watertown before moving to Florida. On certain years I would have rust start showing up in early summer, talked to a lawn guy and he said give it a shot of nitrogen fertilizer, rust was gone in about 10 days. Have a great rest of the summer and hope the grain bin build goes smooth, no storms.
We have been married 48 years. Had a nice.home on the lake For 24 years and my husband was always working on something. we had no downtime even after retiring. We sold the home and bought a wooded 5 acre.lot and built a 1000 sq.ft.single level cabin. No lawn to.care for. We completely downsized. Love it!!!! Life is great.
My Grandparents farmed in Iowa in the 1940s through the late 1960s. When they had hired people come in to fill silo, etc. my Grandmother not only made them their noon meal everyday, but she baked 4 pies and fresh loaves of bread every day too. They had home canned food from the garden and homemade pickles, jams and jellies on the table. I know that ate well not only because she was an excellent but my Mother can recall that there was one man who always had 2 pieces of pie after he ate his large plate of food. Filling Silo was very hard work back when they started farming. When they started farming my Grandfather had a team of horses and like many farmers then they had hogs, cattle, and chickens along with barn cats and farm yard dogs for pest control and security.
So true, Dougo, l was in the closet recently, and you are right, l noticed so shirts from the 70s, too. It's time to clean out, but why do today that can wait till another time. 😅😂😂😂
Hawaiian shirts have always been fashionable. Magnum P.I. with Tom Selleck, along with a plethora of other great shows have ensconced its place in our lives.
It sounds so strange to hear going south to Iowa, and I know that's true for you in Minnesota. As a child our family lived in Cedar Falls Iowa, and several other small towns in northeastern Iowa. Then in 1972 we moved to Arkansas. So now we're really down south. Thank you for sharing part of your day with all of us. 😊
The new soap operas dugo I remember when I was going to college that that was the big thing we had. Stop and watch the soap operas in between classes. UW Platteville, Wisconsin
My grandparents were farmers. I helped them from the time I was able to ride a bike until after their death and I’m still here but Gramma made thousands of sandwiches and they were all made with love and I wish I could just have 1000 more. I’m 40 they are gone now I ask mom to make me sandwiches and send them to the farm. Love the videos I’m assuming you guys are Norwegian because you’re Larson.
@@amysblessings us too. Live the family you guys built. I have family in Vally city. Your channel reminds me of them. We are in Sacramento. We grow organic rice on our field although we lease it to a farmer because grandpa passed away and I wasn’t around to take over the rice farming, but we do still mess around with organic cattle grass fed. Love you guys show Chat he’s a bad ass. Oh and tell Doug he needs to do more Dugo stuff like get stuck.
So Doug-o, I used to raise Tomatoes commercially. They are highly susceptible to rust especially nail head rust. Quite a few of the growers and painters I know, who were older than I, started to come down with auto immune diseases, which appeared to be linked to the same fungicide used in basement paint and our primary crop spray. We applied the spray with a Stihl BR400 back pack blower with a chemical tank. It worked awesome, but no way was I going to have my help or myself use that sprayer for anything that might have those consequences. Then in talking to a chemical engineer friend of mine, he asked if I ever tried stabilized copper. I said huh? He said yeah it's inert to humans, like cooking your eggs in a copper pan, but fungus hates it. I found a product called Copper Count that was less than half the price of Bravo and didn't need a surfactant. It stopped nail head rust (much more stubborn than just rust ) in it's tracks. It was cheap enough and the back pack blower efficient enough I sprayed the tomatoes after every significant rain. The chem guy suggested I switch to magnesium once every 5 if so times to inhibit fungus mutation. It worked like a charm on my half acre of tomatoes for years on the same ground until I quit farming in '96. That blower worked for fruit trees, any garden. It sent out a mist at about 100 mph on full throttle, plus it was basically a leaf blower as well. Going to be 70 in December and the only health problems are hearing (ear plugs? Who needs ear plugs....hmmm) diabetes and lean-forward-to -see-my-toes-ites, pretty much the cause of the diabetes. (Living on a sweet corn farm for 40 years eating sweet corn 7 days a week from mid July until frost may have been a contributing factor🤔) Thanks for the video, take care.
Hey duggo, I would double think that switching over from your RO water to just regular water because that is going to cause a lot of damage to your ice machine in the long run
Fall is about here so enjoy your weekends with friends while you can.! The rust will pass with the seasons. >You are a beautiful couple! You have a beautiful home! >Salford builds a great tool! > KEEP our trust in God!
I do a lot of repairs around the house but my wife started telling me about a project she wants done and I explained to her that she needed to talk to the contractor who is going to do it lol
This is the time of year us Canadians say it's payback, you believe Canada is always frozen, but no, we are night 60 - 75F, daytime 70 to 85F, humidity 20 to 40 %.
Doug, you need to get some demands cs and spray you kitchen area for spiders and many other bugs. I have been using this for many years and it works great, problem solved.
Smart Dougo , smart. RO ,water is good, cleaned up in many ways. Softener water is high sodium, and whatever you use RO is better.. Wonder what Northern Chill is ? You know, you could make your own RO water and have refillable bottles. An RO water tap, and a plumbed line also for larger amounts. Cut down on all those bottles. Another "project" ya ;)
You will be smart to change all the water lines from plastic to braided metal lines. I have helped many people clean up 6" of water in kitchens and bathrooms, because a plastic water line broke. Summer or winter.
2:10 "It's sometimes entertaining to see what Doug's up to."
Words to live by! 🤗

Farm moms and wives are the best. I used to look forward to seeing her car pull into the approach and pop open the trunk. We always ate very well and it was much appreciated!
Watching ice freeze, grass grow, and paint dry are three of my favorite activities... 🙃

I have seen rust in a lot of crops but never in a lawn before. Interesting.
Your videos are a pleasure to watch, light hearted easy to watch with any drama. Keep offering more,
Tempo by Bayer, great stuff! Kills spiders in the house and insects in the grain bins. That'll kill a week out of your summer lol

Hawaiian shirts have always been fashionable. Magnum P.I. with Tom Selleck, along with a plethora of other great shows have ensconced its place in our lives.
Magnum for the win.
Mow just after it rains as soon as you can walk without shoes getting wet or just damp. Great test. Really helps with dust and pollen

Awesome video Amy. 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Free shirts are always the best. Another fun Sunday with the Larson's. Hope you both have a blessed week.
I like that PEX tool kit on counter. I got 2 of them and wish they still sold them to get more for all trucks
If I wasn't 5 hours away I'd come fix that up the way you want as the 2 options 😊
Dougo I like the way you think cooling ice is different than drinking ice
101 here in Buhl Idaho 15% humidity
Love you 2 have a blessed weekend 😊
Awesome video and looking forward to the next one!!

This is all so interesting. Thanks.
Got one just like it it's great and is potable for consumption.
Dougo I prefer clear ice only. For cocktails
Amy, you and Doug can make anything entertaining! You guys could do a video about shower curtains, And we would all tune in.
It truly amazes me that our ordinary life is something to tune in to. Thanks for joining 😊
Amy Doug makes that shirt look awesome
Use tempo for your spiders. It’s safe for in home and it works
Hey duggo, I would double think that switching over from your RO water to just regular water because that is going to cause a lot of damage to your ice machine in the long run
Spray home defense on the wall for the spiders. We had the same problem and now we have no spiders.
Rust is pretty common for a new lawn
Fall is about here so enjoy your weekends with friends while you can.! The rust will pass with the seasons.
>You are a beautiful couple! You have a beautiful home! >Salford builds a great tool!
> KEEP our trust in God!
Thank you! You too!
Love the shirt.
Dang! We didn’t get to go car and truck shopping today.
Send your extra water to us in the southwest. We’re desperate.
Thanks for the video!
Good evening Dougo and Amy
Sweet shirt Doug
You guys are a good couple keep an eye on her Doug !
GOT to get Amy a nice zero turn mower. 😁
Love you guys ❤❤❤❤❤
I do a lot of repairs around the house but my wife started telling me about a project she wants done and I explained to her that she needed to talk to the contractor who is going to do it lol
That’s a good one.
This is the time of year us Canadians say it's payback, you believe Canada is always frozen, but no, we are night 60 - 75F, daytime 70 to 85F, humidity 20 to 40 %.
Amy, you need to put up a grease board with # of days since a Dougo home injury.
I should!
What a great shirt it looks awesome lol
I follow you guys and I think of it as an investment in life and wisdom!
Thank you ☺️
HELP! Someone please explain "Rusty Grass". I have just plain old grass but Rusty Grass? Amazing 😱
Doug, you need to get some demands cs and spray you kitchen area for spiders and many other bugs. I have been using this for many years and it works great, problem solved.
Blue broom is called a Webster
Hey Dougo…. You have the same John Deere that I have! X534 (523 hrs now)
Nice shirt!
Spray the outside and the wall with Home Defence Max. Two times a year and no bugs etc.
Just think, in another month or so it will be time to winterize the pipes. Minnesota has two seasons, spring and winter 😂
In Ontario, Canada the two seasons are winter and construction.
Some Tempo SC will help control those spiders along with a few other bugs.
North Carolina is Humidity Central normally above 80% 93% today
Eek! 🥵
I like the new shirt. Isn't grass related to most cereals anyway, so would be vulnerable to rust fungus?
All corn growing in Iowa drives humidity up 😮
We say it’s close in Iowa.
You’re making life tuff on your self Dougo!
DougO needs to go to the farm for relaxation.
Where did you buy the ice maker from
As for watching ice form in the ice maker, it’s still better than watching paint dry….
P.S. Don’t forget the once a year descaling procedure….
Come to north Carolina in yull have nothing to complain about lol
My girlfriend is down in NC currently…I believe you.
Go to Fargo - swing by West Acres. Is that even open anymore???
It's a deep subject for such a shallow mind 😄
Well is a very deep subject for shallow minds.
We do it at our farm as well. People don’t understand how nasty farming and livestock are.
Northern chill is alkaline. RO is basically just water and I actually add minerals back into it when I drink it.
95degrees with 97% humidity here in Louisiana 110 degrees feels like
Oh man. That’s rough.
UFC Da when's the family reunion. I've got Parsons in the tree. My Great great grandmothers maiden name was Larson. Out of Wisconsin.
Grass pollen Doug?☘️🇮🇪🤔🙏🏻🙏🏻
No plumber's crack. 👍
Thank goodness. 😅😂
You will be smart to change all the water lines from plastic to braided metal lines. I have helped many people clean up 6" of water in kitchens and bathrooms, because a plastic water line broke. Summer or winter.
Eek!
cool shirt.
Hey Dougo, I have to lay down to do what u doing!!!!! Ole ain’t fun!
Talstar P for spiders & other insects 🕷️
He had to mow the rust
Some one told me the rust can kill you Dougo! No I was trying too scare you
Dougo is on to something or on something 😅😅😅😅😅😅
