This video was excellent, I can not believe the size of this collection it is crazy! Before I saw the history of mortal kombat videos I’d never heard of HIM, but I saw the posters in the background, looked them up and gave them a listen and I really enjoy the music. I personally don’t have a collection anywhere near as extensive as this one but I guess the closest thing I have is my collection of novels by Stephen King (including special editions and novels he wrote under his various pseudonyms).
Thanks man! I have so much that I don't know if much has changed since this video came out. That and, it's not like we're getting new HIM merch these days.
This is amazing. This Band carried me through my life. Not everybody understands this band and it sure isn’t for everyone. The blend of romance, melancholia, hate, love, and a hardcore rock n roll lifestyle is very distinct and for some people’s taste, may e even disturbing. To me Ville Valo is the last remaining rockstar, true and genuine. I’m very grateful that you found this band and cherish and love them as much as I do. I actually have a huge collection of covers and very unknown songs from this band I gathered over the years, apart from buying everything they released, when I m a bit more of a free time man, I’ll make a video. Thanks man.
I subscribed because while going through ur history of mortal komabat You had a him poster in the background N I thought This guy... This guy is cool lol

@@616Entertainment pleasure is all mine brother I saw them in Nottingham Rock City during the final tour Ville kept smiling at me when filming no homo more like a big bro to me haha love from the UK 🤘
Ever since I heard HIM on CKY 3 I fell in love with them. Favorite band ever. I always enjoy other fans of HIM expressing just how fucking amazing these guys are
SO sad that I was forced to sell my limited steelcase version of Dark Light and the singles collection a few years ago when money got tight. I kept the Heartagram Laser Pointer until it got stolen about 5 years later.
Good video man! Made me learn more about this band! I only know Right Here in my Arms and Wings of a Butterfly. I’m a big KoRn and Insane Clown Posse fan
616Entertainment good news is Spotify has all the main albums on there. I just gotta write down correct order cause oldest is showing Dark Light, cause showing 1st four albums as 2014 remastered and the order it’s got those as Razorblade Romance,Love Metal, Greatest Love Songs vol 666, and final is Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights. I have tomorrow off from work, so perfect day to enjoy them
Fucking amazing collection bro, love those vinyls and all. I also have my name on that Tears on Tape -poster, that whole magazine was such a treat. My greatest treasures are 666 Ways To Love: Prologue -EP (costs a shit ton of money nowadays, easily the rarest release from the band) and Venus Doom signed by Ville which I won from a contest back in the day when I was a moderator in HIM's official finnish fan forum. I'd love to have that HER -version from Razorblade Romance.
DUDE. Ugh. I would absolutely love a 666 Ways To Love EP, the original, obviously. Jesus Christ you luck son of a bitch. Great collection you've got there. You listen to any of Ville's new songs with Agents?
I know, right! Found it from a flea market in Helsinki in early 2000's, around those times RR was released. Cost 10 euros or something. In retrospective, it was like winning in a fucking lottery! Still in mint condition, needless to say. I'm probably taking it with me to my grave, haha. Oh sure I have. I'm a huge fan of Badding too, loooved Orpolapsi Kiurun but the new rendition of Ikkunaprinsessa took me a while to get used to. The old version from Laulava Sydän is way superior. I'm going to see Ville and the Agents live a couple of times this spring. First on Tavastia and then in a little town called Somero where Rauli Badding Somerjoki was born. That's going to be something special!
My name is Ian, HIM is my favorite band ( I've got the ville sleeve, a heartagram on my neck, the cover of uneasy listening vol 2 on my arm and a heart tattoo on my wrist) a beard and long hair. Always wear a beanie and plaid shirts with a t shirt under it. Used to love wrestling and read comics since I was 15 And your videos popped up randomly on my suggested videos the other night. And some people still think your phone isn't listening to you talk and picking your content based on what you talk about. 😂 😂
Haha I'm a bit late, but I love HIM too! Last year when Ville did this Agents collab thing I got The golden vinyl signed by Ville. And oh I met Kari valo (Ville's dad) in his sex shop and oh god how polite and nice he is. I'm from Finland so going to his store is pretty easy XD
That collection is fuckin dope! I have a few of those in my own collection, which I now see is very small 😂 loved this though any tips you can give me on where to get this stuff would be greatly appreciated
This is A M A Z I N G ahh. It's hard looking for HiM stuff now for some reason. I usually just look on ebay but even then it's pretty hard. I want all of these things ): They've been my favorite band my entire life I think haha I'm 21 now and I've known him for like forever. Unfortunately I never got the chance to see them when they came to Chicago but I hope I can meet them still someday ):
Oh man, I'm glad to hear they're your favorite band and you're 21! I feel like after a certain point, people kinda stopped discovering HIM, at least in the US, so it's cool that you're almost 10 years younger than I am and you're also a super fan. Have you heard Ville's new songs? He released 3 songs in April, they're all great. I recommend them. Thanks for watching!
616Entertainment yeah I heard them c: my favorite song from the new released songs is Run Away From The Sun. To be honest if I ever have kids I’m going to introduce them to HiM 🤣
I have pretty much everything you have, minus posters and tattoos. I did notice you're missing a couple DVDs. A video collection released here in the states. Black cover, purple heartagram. And a much deeper video collection that is out of print now. Love Metal Archives Vol 1. More along the lines of a HIM artstyle on the cover. Which, to me, is a must. A lot of the videos I see on YT are ripped from that DVD.
I showed Love Metal Archives Vol. 1 my dude! And actually I do have that purple Heartagram DVD, after I finished editing the footage I noticed I forgot to grab it. Shit!
@@616Entertainment I must've missed it then. Apologies. Still, even though we'll probably never see new music from Ville and crew. People should know of the brutal beauty of a band that crossed borders, both musically and geographically, and stole hearts. I'm kinda with you on Screamworks. But I really like Baudelaire in Braille version much better. The string tribute was found by me looking for something like the O.D. version of Gone With the Sin or the String version of In Joy and Sorrow. I even tracked down a Summer Wine single with Natalia Avelon and Ville. Back when he could have doubled as Johnny Depp.
Bryan Farmer Dude I’m not going to lie, I’d fight somebody for a Summer Wine single. I love that song. I want to preorder the new album Ville’s doing with Agents but I can’t find a damn US link anywhere!
No, because I don't think I've added anything substantial to the collection since this came out. Maybe a t-shirt or two? This is about as complete as it gets, hahaha. Thanks for watching!
My favorite HIM song is 'Buried Alive by Love', but neither the album version nor the 616 - it's the Live from Finnvox Studios, off of Japanese 'Tears on Tape'. Ville's perfomance on it, the sawtooth synth and the production in general sounds so much better than the album!
I have the heartagram on my forearm, which is surrounded by a sleeve look similar to his, only half tho because I didn't want to copy it completely. Also have the Venus doom logo on chest, got two hearts on the wrist. Fuck I love this band 😈
I used to skate a lot back in the day when I was a kid and one of my all time favorite skaters was Bam Margera. He being a super fan of the band and playing their music in his videos and on “Viva La Bam”, that’s how I found out about HIM...through him. I really liked their early stuff and “Wings Of A Butterfly” is still one of my favorite songs, it’s also one of the first songs I burned onto a CD when I figured out how to do that, makes for some good skating music.
Weeks later. I’m still telling friends that I found this guy on UA-cam who is showing off his HIM album collection and got triggered when ppl started making fun of HIM 😂😂😂😂😂✅
Wow awesome fucking collection!!!!. I am getting into HIM and let me tell ya. I FUCKING LOVE HIM!. HIM FOREVER MY NUMBER ONE MOST FAVORITE BAND!🖤💕. sorry for sounding crazy lol but I am starting a collection. I am starting on the standard cds and I want to move on after that to the stuff you have aside from the standard editions. Like the vinyls, singles and other stuff. I want to find some vintage HIM posters which are hard to find. I'm a big fan of Type O Negative and I have a collection of Type O stuff which one half is filled with type o stuff and the other half I am saving for HIM. Rock Hard man!🤘💕🖤
Hell yea! It's going to be a blast tracking everything down, trust me. I'm in that weird limbo where I have pretty much anything I can find in stores, but ordering things online just isn't the same. It's the thrill of the hunt!
Electric guitars and GI Joe's. I have 9 guitars and have c. 50-60 GI Joe's, old ones from growing up and new from the last 10 years or so. The guitar stuff is expensive, the GI Joe's are expensive now as well! As for bands... I have all the Metallica records and Zeppelin records on CD and plan to buy a few on Vinyl soon. Maybe start with Zepp IV and Master of Puppets.
You forgot to mention that the Jimmy Frank’s version of razor blade romance has your sweet Six six six that is completely different than the reissue! In my opinion I love that version than the greatest love songs version

As of this day i still think HIM and Type O did those styles the best. Razorblade Romance and Bloody Kisses are both just amazing albums. If you havent listened to it check it out man. HIM did a cover of Black No. 1 but im sure youve heard that with seeing you collection
Never heard of HIM before.
I'll spotify some, which one would you recomend
-Death Is In Love With Us (1999, Razorblade Romance)
-Our Diabolical Rapture (1997, Greatest Lovesongs Vol. 666)
-Join Me in Death (1999, Razorblade Romance)
-The Sacrament (2003, Love Metal)
-Katherine Wheel (2010, Screamworks)
Dude, I grew up in Hammond Indiana- not too far south east from chicago (i wrote this when you mentioned picking up the one album in chicago) - I was born in March of 1990, grew up loving pro wrestling, superheroes, and still do. i just don't understand how we weren't friends somehow
Had we crossed paths it definitely would have happened. Unless we're the same person and its universal overlap, in which case the fabric of reality would fold in on itself. Maybe me replying is temping fate. Let me nwko if tihngs strta to teg wierd adn *i'll turn backckkckdkkdkfdfdfD*
Awesome collection mate. Do you have the joy and sorrow/pretending on vinyl
I don't have that one, actually. Thanks for watching!
Dude that collection sounds fucking awesome.
Youre the Person why i want every version of every record i want everything now bc of you. I have now like 21 CDs
Impressive HIM collection dude! I love it🤘
Thanks man! I have so much that I don't know if much has changed since this video came out. That and, it's not like we're getting new HIM merch these days.
I had a HIM “Razorblade Romance” t-shirt in 8th grade & the school sent me home to change. I still have the CD & cassette.
The cassette? Dude... If you ever don't want it... =)
Thanks man.
I'd definitely check that out, dude. Thanks for watching.
Dunno if will see this still but post it up plz 🙏
I subscribed because while going through ur history of mortal komabat
You had a him poster in the background
N I thought
This guy... This guy is cool lol
You seem pretty cool, too. =)
Hey man, nice seeing you again. I am not sure if you dropped a clue when you mentioned the next history video you will be releasing, but I can't figure out what it was! What is it?! :D :D
I too have that awesome subzero finish him shirt!
I have never heard of HIM before tbh, so I am looking forward watching this video :D
Hope you enjoy their music, my dude. Also, clue? What clues? The two that flash on the screen? Hm..
@@616Entertainment See you are teasing right now! I am so dumb I thought it was like Razor Ramons trunks at first....E and an S, yellow and purple.....or is it F and an S? God damn it
Saw voice: "I want to play a game." hahahaah
@@616Entertainment You know, I am totally down with waiting. Because I know it will be worth it. That's how much I appreciate your work
Rambo John Jay And I appreciate the shit out of that.
I was listening " Funeral of Hearts " with my lover back in high school. Old good times lol i miss them
I recently subbed due to your brilliant history of Mortal Kombat and Smackdown. They were extremely well done, amazing work. So much passion and knowledge put into each 'history of'. Both very professionally done.
Dude, I appreciate that so much. This is a little in between video, don't worry, plenty of in depth stuff to come.
Hell yeah! Their Overdrive performance is my all time favorite.
Fucking AMAZING performance.
Imprecionante!! Yo tengo mi colección pero la tulla es espectacular!!
My favourite video you done simply because of HIM haha
Hey thanks for watching!
I always enjoy other fans of HIM expressing just how fucking amazing these guys are
Been waiting for this!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Hope you enjoyed it!
I still have my copy of the HER branded release of Razorblade Romance. I believe I still have the HER shirt as well.
Dude, hell yea. Super rare.
SO sad that I was forced to sell my limited steelcase version of Dark Light and the singles collection a few years ago when money got tight.
I kept the Heartagram Laser Pointer until it got stolen about 5 years later.
Sons of bitch that is sad. =(
Good video man! Made me learn more about this band! I only know Right Here in my Arms and Wings of a Butterfly. I’m a big KoRn and Insane Clown Posse fan
Oh man, you've got the entire HIM library to explore now!
I have tomorrow off from work, so perfect day to enjoy them
I see what you did there in the beginning 🤔 great video man, love me some HIM!
What ever do you mean? Those little split second hints, perhaps?
@@616Entertainment Just maybe, I'll crack the code at some point here soon enough 🤔
@@icepick2449 Ooohhh this is fun...
Good luck I've been at it a few hours with a few ideas but nothing I'm willing to put my name to yet.
@@Kaku24 You guys are making my day. =)
@@OdeForCruelty ....I never knew I could be so jealous of someone.
Pretty cool collection! 😀 Can't wait for MK11!
Me neither! Thanks for watching my friend. Stick around!
You beat me to it i just finished my jackass collection and i am working on my H.I.M. collection I only have my cKy collection uploaded so far
I just watched your cky collection. How did you get volume 2. And when dose your jackass collection drop
Dude, nice!
Holy FUCK. Are we the same person? Is this two timelines overlapping?
@@616Entertainment multiverse shit going on! Good to know there's an American version of me walking around 😂 😂
I am extremely, extremely jealous. I got the black vinyl, but man, that gold one sounds incredible.
@@616Entertainment Yea they made like 300 of them, and with every vinyl you got postcard signed by Ville and Esa (Guitarist of Agents). -_^
I dig the collection. It always seemed to me like HIM considers the artwork to be almost as important as the music, which is really smart.
JazJames616 You might be on to something there, Jaz.
That collection is fuckin dope! I have a few of those in my own collection, which I now see is very small 😂 loved this though any tips you can give me on where to get this stuff would be greatly appreciated
It's so hard to naturally track down HIM stuff these days. Records stores, used CD shops and eBay are your friend. =)
@@616Entertainment thanks man
This is A M A Z I N G ahh.
Can you make a 2022 Version of this Video?
No, because I don't think I've added anything substantial to the collection since this came out. Maybe a t-shirt or two? This is about as complete as it gets, hahaha. Thanks for watching!
@@616Entertainment No Problem! I watch this video Since it Came out so i watched that video 10000 times
I actually collect HIM at sometimes but now im not anyway good job
Great collection bro
Will you be doing a least fav. to fav. HIM albums someday?
That would be so fucking hard to do. We'll see, though. I certainly could talk about HIM for hours. Thanks for watching, by the way.
@@616Entertainment Oh yea that is pretty hard but yea I would enjoy watching a video were you talk about them for an hour. Your welcome.
ive never heard of HIM and im really into music! i'll have to check them out! i used to collect Beer bottle caps, i lost them tho :(
Track them down! Glad you like the music. =)
God damn that's a deep cut! Much respect on that one.
The greatest band of all time my friend! Great video!
Thanks Craig!
Tap that bell you won't regret!
Hey, wouldn't hurt!
I love HIM as well. I got 8 guitars and I drive my wife crazy cause I can play pretty much every song off of all the albums guitar and bass lol
That is fucking awesome, dude. Thanks for watching!
I don't know why but I like your laugh
Hahaha, thank you!
I have the heartagram on my forearm, which is surrounded by a sleeve look similar to his, only half tho because I didn't want to copy it completely. Also have the Venus doom logo on chest, got two hearts on the wrist.
Fuck I love this band 😈
Excellent choices, man.
Hell yea man, great memories. =)
HER - Razorblade Romance is my holy grail that I know I’ll ever attain. Much jealousy.
Dude I never thought I'd have one, either, and you heard the story. It can easily still happen for you. Most people don't even know what it is!
HIM is one of my absolute favorite bands. I discovered them watching Viva La Bam or Jackass or whatever. The point is, it was Bam Margera-related.
I discovered them through Bam as well. So many fans pretend they discovered them without him, but come on, man. In the States he was our source!
"NUT" yes it's beautiful
love h.i.m sadly don't own anything of theirs but i'm crazy for the heartagram symbol plus i'm a hotwheel or any diecast cars collector
Weeks later. I’m still telling friends that I found this guy on UA-cam who is showing off his HIM album collection and got triggered when ppl started making fun of HIM 😂😂😂😂😂✅
Dude, let them make fun. They're missing out. I greatly appreciate you spreading the word. =)
Damn, that's awesome. My dad had like 40 guitars, he had been collecting for decades.
Man I remember when I bought Dark light and Venus albums when I was 18 😁
Venus Doom. sorry 😂
Dude my copy of Dark Light had the black wrapping over it. Son of a bitch I should've kept it sealed!
You forgot to mention that the Jimmy Frank’s version of razor blade romance has your sweet Six six six that is completely different than the reissue! In my opinion I love that version than the greatest love songs version
You are correct, Jose.
Hmm my brain is working overtime on those two hints at the beginning of the video...
Oooohhhhh, somebody finally noticed?
Great collection
Thank you!
shell be right here in thees arms
616 official HIM band look them up. I never seen HIM live before :(
Optic500 I know of 616. I can’t do it. It’s such a carbon copy it bothers me.
Yessssssss!!! I love HIM
I love seeing so many positive HIM comments. Great start to 2019.
