Hilti Disc cutter shock

Hi Folks.
This Hilti Disc cutter came in for a simple repair that I could not do.
I couldn’t buy the part needed as Hilti don’t sell parts.
This Hilti Disc cutter is £1,300 new (as of October 2024), compared to a Stihl at about £900.
I could have tried to get a cable made, but I suspect it would have not fitted properly.

@themowerman I didn't try to make one as the cable ends are a bit odd, and it might have caused a problem.

Hilti are now basically a hire company. They make it so it has to go to them for repair.
Breakers for example they electronically go into "service mode" and won't work. There's no other way to service them than to send it to Hilti.
AVOID HILTI!
