Nicely done, well edited and great info! My suggestion: close off that box tubing so you don't get water and dirt in there to rust it out from the inside.
Honestly I don’t even know haha! But most likely yes. It’s a factory smart car heater core and I just knew to throw 400v at it and it worked. But based on the way it operates I’d say yes it is one.
WTF! A non IP rated charger mounted in an open aitr enviroment? Its gonna fry, soon! Metal fabricatinand welding skills and the radio is hung ona bracket under the dash? Show some skill and flush monut it in the dash. I am silently judging your DC wiring, hmmm...Well compared to what I have its light years ahead of me. Good job, now fix the details. lol.
Well done. Simple is better.
Thanks Tom!
Love the intention you put into this build man! Great video!!
Thanks man!! I knew I was gonna have to work on it at some point just for maintenance reasons. Especially the differential haha!

Thanks! Yeah I could. But I did paint the insides of the tubes and they are .120” thick and we live in California. So I’m not too stressed about it.
luv it !!!
Can you make a video of the rear end to show the suspension and brake setup? Great build!
Check out building the axle from the beginning

Nice usage of original Tesla parts! Your placement makes a lot of sense for easy access. What’s next for Luxi?
Thanks! I think Luxi is done. Going on 2 years now with the build.
Awesome project!!!!!!
Thank you!!
Awesome!!!
Thanks!!
Is it a PTC heater?

Great design. What controller/board did you use to integrate everything?
Thanks! The charger uses an open inverter board, motor uses a T2C and dcdc is just an enable wire.
@@J5Jonny5 nice. Anything needed for the i3 battery to open the contacts?
