Damn, I have huge respect for your craftsmanship. It’s great to see someone put this kind of blood, sweat, and swear words into a hot rod that isn’t a two door. I’m sure I’m not the only one that considered this car totaled after seeing the extent of the crash damage . . . hope that other guy’s insurance is paying up for all the new parts!
Congratulations on getting it back together. I was heartsick after seeing that freak accident and figured it was totaled. I hope it looks even better than before.
This may be a first on youtube. I mean we are litterally seeing the entire process from crashing to fixing and the pace of it all is mind blowing. This guy shits and gits. He does not play around. Fastest and hardest work iver seen on the tube.
you are unbelievable!! i am very impressed with your work. did the insurance company give you a lump sum to repair. i would think you may make a nice little profit since you are doing the work yourself.
I'm impressed! I was sad to see what happened to it, and was not sure how you were going to be able to make it look new again.... (of course I was optimistic and am pro saving all old iron, smashed or not) But your skill is amazing! Well done sir.
Wow you did a lot of work in 24 hours. Not only fixed the frame and installed new core support but the patch is fitting better and the taillights are straight wow take a break get some rest.
Klasse job. Du bist echt schnell mit der Reparatur und es macht einen guten Eindruck. Noch zwei Wochen und der Chevy ist besser denn je. Grüße aus Deutschland Bee
Man how the hell are you doing that good of work that fast as a future professional body man/car restorer I can only hope to get half this good you can definitely tell you have many many years of body work under your belt keep it up it looks fantastic
Extremely impressed with the speed and quality of your work! Personally, I wouldn't have been able to stop crying long enough to even start fixing things if it was my car.
Very nice job on straightening the sheet metal. It's always nice to be able to keep as much original sheet metal as it's much better than the aftermarket.
SIR ,, MY SON AND I SAW THE FIRST VIDEO OF THE CRASH ,, WE COULD NOT GET OVER HOW MUCH DAMAGE IT TOOK BUT OLD CARS ARE TOUGH ,,IT COULD OF TAKEN YOUR LIFE BUT YOU ARE SAFE THANKS TO G D.. WE COULDNT STOP TALKING ABOUT IT WITH FRIENDS ,,NOW LOOK YOUR DOING A GREAT!!! JOB... I AGREE WITH OTHER COMMENTS WHEN YOU LOVE YOUR CAR LIKE WE DO WE WOULD DO ANY THING TO GET IT FIX RIGHT AWAY ,,.. ITS NOT GOING TO COME BACK TO LIFE LIKE THAT MOVIE CHRISTINE ,,DO IT AND ENJOY IT AGAIN ,,.. PLEASE KEEP US IN TUNE ABOUT THE BUILD ..
Little advice from a fellow hot rodder. The electric fan will more than likely keep that small block plenty cool just by itself. I had a T/A with a supercharged small block in it and its electric fans kept it cool even on the hottest days. You will also make your water pump bearings last longer and pick up 15 or so HP that it takes to run the mechanical fan.
I had a feeling you were going to fix her. It's a labor of love not many folks that aren't gearheads understand. Even restoring an old UJM, I insist on finding the correct parts for restoration!
I'm glad to see you getting your car back together. your car was so clean and then it got smashed up. That's terrible but I'm glad to see you putting back together. God-bless you.
I don't quite understand Kinda why are you doing it Was the other driver insured Have you bought it back from the insurers Is it different in the states
Jack it up and give the wheels a spin to see if they were bent in the accident. It is funny how so many people believe that the older cars are much stronger in an accident, when in fact the opposite is true.
Saw what happened in a dashcam video and my heart sank when I saw what happened. You should be very proud of what you have accomplished so far! At this rate It will be done next week!! Is the Prius owners insurance covering the repair?
Slow down, you're making the rest of us look bad.
Seriously how are the rest of us supposed to keep up? 😅

I would be doing a fair amount of crying and complaining, but you just get after it with a great attitude. Impressive indeed!
Glad to see you are able to fix it. That was one freaky crash!
You make it look so easy! very nice work. I love that green and ivory combination. Soooo '50's!
This may be a first on youtube. I mean we are litterally seeing the entire process from crashing to fixing and the pace of it all is mind blowing. This guy shits and gits. He does not play around. Fastest and hardest work iver seen on the tube.
Editing can do that.

Looking so much better, so impressive. Sorry you had this happen, must've been heartbreaking
Seems like this man turned it into an oppertunity, no heartbreak here.
@@herbienbrian2 true, still can't imagine the pain when it happened
Just an observation. You may be better off radiusing the corners on that rear fender repair panel.
You are a body wizard, well done my man !! Look forward to the finished product .

Great job , it’s a shame this happened . I have a couple of old cars and I hate to think if this happened to me .
Your moving along fast. Looks good
Been where you're at.
The flat bar in front of the radiator held on with u bolts, is that added by you? Nice to see it coming back together.
Great job. I admire your perseverance. Lots of guys would have sold it broken hearted.
I'm curious as to how the insurance settlement ends.
did you drag the guy out the car by his neck when it happened
Seems like only yesterday you were telling us of wrinkles on the car
Looking good.
This is the difference between someone who buys a car already done and someone who builds their own.
You must have built a lot of models as a kid. You are making this look so easy. Awesome work ! 😀
Keep up the great work.

Well this answers my question on the first video. Looks like you have the repairs handled. Looking forward to the rest of the repair.

Great to see the old girl coming back. The Bel Air is one of my favourite cars of all time. It hurt my heart when I first saw the crash video.

Good luck on the rest of it and sorry you had to go trow tat
Update #3?
I have to echo what others are saying. Respect for your hard work, dedication and skills.
Excellent progress!
Would have rather seen you put a complete quarter panel on instead of a piece of a panel.
Glad to see it getting fixed up, hope you can get it back up to 100% soon. It's sad to see a beautiful old car all beat up and wrecked.
Great progress. Good attitude as well.
Fantastic job! Super fast, too.
looking good. Glad it wasn't a total loss.
Very very good to see. And great work to!
You're a boss for this
Nice progress. How many times that frame horn catch your knee before you put that towel on it?😊 Keep up the good work. 👍
Good shit. Im in ontario also and want to see it at a car show when its done
Jack it up and give the wheels a spin to see if they were bent in the accident. It is funny how so many people believe that the older cars are much stronger in an accident, when in fact the opposite is true.
That is going to be so much better than new! Didn't have a/c and an electric fan when it came out!
Bright side is, you get to work on your car again! A car project is truly never completed!
Coming along, looking good!
Dam you have some serious skills
Saw what happened in a dashcam video and my heart sank when I saw what happened. You should be very proud of what you have accomplished so far! At this rate It will be done next week!! Is the Prius owners insurance covering the repair?
Cool 😎 . Looks great 👍
Dude you must be only taking power naps next to the car with a wrench in one hand and body hammer in the other.looking good thou.
Man, I feel for you and the other cars... except for the Derby car
Watching that was worse than every horror movie put together!
You're processing faster than my 71 Bug
I do hope that the insurance company paid you out for your car and i do hope that you get the car repaired. Cheers.
What an amazing job you are doing! Have you heard from the other driver's insurance company???
It looks good so far very nice work. How does it work with the car insurance 🤔
I'm sure you've answered this but I would assume the car was insured and you just wanted to do the body and metal work yourself?
He probably built the car
Mon I was pist when I seen it wrecked, it's coming back together nicely 👍🏽
