Shoe Unboxing - Altra Via Olympus

As a lifelong runner I have worn many brands of shoes over the years. Altra Running peaked my interest in their lineup of shoes with maximum cushioning and a wide toe box area for a natural footshape.
I purchased a pair of Altra Via Olympus, which retail for $170 US. These can be purchased from many retailers, and sometimes you'll find better deals. Tried them on my first run after unboxing them today. Overall I'm pretty impressed with the technology and comfort in the Altra Via Olympus shoes. Plenty of cushioning to absorb my body weight and propel me forward with energy return. The shoes feel great and are surprisingly lighter than they look. Post run I'm feeling less fatigue and less joint pain. I'm happy I tried these and could be a lifelong customer to Altra Running. Hoping for longevity from these Altra Via Olympus and glad to see them coming out with more colors.
