- I sit down today just to vent, I was having a rough time dealing with a loss in our family so I wanted to make this video to let everyone know it's okay to be sad, loss is a part of our lives.

Girl I’m crying my eyes out watching this, I’m so sorry to hear about poor Jake 😢😢❤️ it’s always really hard to lose both a family member and best friend, Jake was such a beautiful soul and his energy will never be forgotten ❤️❤️❤️💙💙💙 Albert Einstein proved that energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only be changed from one form to another, and I truly believe that applies to living creatures as well, your soul is your energy, and Jakes hasn’t been destroyed, he has been transformed into something bigger then all of us, he has moved on to contribute his energy to the whole universe, Jake will forever be apart of all of everything that happens in this universe, for all of time.❤️💙

Awwwwww sweetie. That’s so hard. What an awesome dog! You were so lucky to be a mamma to such a neat dog. It’s gonna be quiet for awhile around there... I agree. Let it out. It fricken sucks!!!! Animals should live longer. Good on the community plot. It will be beautiful. I’ll be happy to see how you guys remember Jake in the future. Hugs to you.
We have a whole garden area planned out back for him, we have already begun working on it.
My heart breaks for you!!! What a shock. Losing a fur baby is soooo hard. Big hugs!. Chocolate labs are amazing and such cuddly silly pups. I love the idea of putting him by the water! So sweet! The sorrow you have is a sign of just how much he meant to you!

Yes they really are the best! I have some goodies coming to remind us of him, for both inside and out. He was our world our 3rd kid!
It is so hard to lose a pet, I think I cried more when my dog died than I did when mom passed and I cried a LOT then. I KNOW our animals are still with us even after they leave. I watched mom pet animals that werent there just before she passed. I know it was our dog coming to get her. My heart goes out to you. sending long virtual hugs

Sorry about your loss as well, it sure sucks. Letting out a good cry has def helped me. We have more animals to help heal our hearts but we will always have a spot for Jake a roon!

I'm so very sorry for your loss. He was a member of your family so, yes, you will be grieving the loss. You have a lot of wonderful memories to give you comfort during your grief. Sounds like he had a very full, loving life with you and your family. Take care!!
Thank you, I know it will get easier, right now it just sucks, each day gets easier, I am allowing myself to be sad and I know it will get easier.
It's ok to be sad. It's very ok. Remembering all the good times -- oh, and the bad, too -- will help you make it through this rough time. Been there (a few times), done it. Hang in there!

My heart goes out to your family Krissy. It is always okay to cry and sleep you are right. Take the time you need to grieve. I love that the greenhouse is the happy place the place you can go to try to cheer up a bit. Those flowers will be beautiful! I hope your day brightens up krissy love you girl!
Thank you so much girl 💖 Each day is getting easier and there is less crying. I am just trying to remember all the happy times with him. The green house is totally my happy place, I have cried in there more times than I can count.
I'm so sorry to hear this 😭 we have a chocolate lab too. We lost two kitties last year and it was horrible. Animals are such a blessing, but they're definitely not here long enough. Sending you love and hugs

I'm so sorry. My Stumpy Tailed Cattle Dog passed away just recently and it was heartbreaking. They really do become a part of the family and we love them so much.

Ugh it's so hard. I find myself doing tasks and having to stop to cry. It's not easy especially when you like animals more than most people. Sorry to hear about your dog as well. Thanks so much Daz!
@@AlongTheRiverHomestead I'm done now with dogs. The years of joy is great, but this is the second cattle dog I have lost over the years and the grief is too much. I'm sticking to chickens, but even they have made me cry when they have passed.
Tell anyone that and I will kick your butt!

it's so sad to think about and we know dogs most likely won't outlive us . All we can do is give them the best life possible!
Awwwww. Now Jake's Grandma is crying again. Do you know, Jake was my first real relationship, with a dog? We never had pets growing up. I know I'm being partial when I say this, but, he was the best and smartest and loving dog, ever!! I will always miss that puppy face. Time will heal your heartache and replace with more happy memories. He was loved by everyone whoever had the opportunity to run into him. Hugs and kisses to you and your family.
He for sure was the bestest dog ever. Even being an old man he rarely had accidents in the house. He did have a puppy face, I got some goodies coming so we can always remember him and that puppy face in the house 💚

Hope I didn't make you cry :'( I cried and cried editing this video. It's just a hard part of owning pets. They bring you so much joy while they are here & much sadness when they are gone.

Im so so sorry for your loss of your beloved furbaby. My heart goes out to you. I just lost my chuhuhaua Star April 10th. I had her 11 years too since she was 3 months old. Yes its ok to cry i do ever day. You will also. There are children. Heart held sympathy sweetie. God bless 🙏🏼 Stay safe hugs 💓. Jake is at Rainbow bridge with all the other lost animals.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your pup as well. It makes me happy to think he is up there living his best life with other animals.

He was so loved by all in his 12 years of life, of course you wish you did more for them but we know he had a great 12 years with us 💖
Oh I am so sorry for your loss. It is like losing a family member. Hang in there. It will get easier. Grieving is normal so allow yourself that.

Labs are the best. Although we have 2 golden retrievers still. The greenhouse def made me happy. I just turn on some tunes and plant.

I took a month off from YT when my old girl died. Loosing a pet sucks. I admire your strength for filming.
12 is a great old age. I can tell he was very loved!

Our 2 small indoor dogs are now 9 & 10 and I'm praying they stay with us a while longer. They are like my kids for real. ❤

Krissy Boo Boo I am so so sorry about Jake. Justin is Right, Jake's soul is out there making everybody smile in the universe. I wish I could hug you right now, you and Chris both. I know how hard it is to lose someone you love but as we all know his spirit is still with you it's just really hard not to be able to hug him. I'm so so sorry.
