You guys should think about installing a ceiling fan when you redo the living room. It can be used to push heat through the house in the winter too.

You’re doing so well with keeping up with daily chores. Please make sure you are drinking water constantly while you are cleaning in the heat. Gatorade or drinks with electrolytes would be a good choice for you also.
Sorry to hear about your husband not feeling well. I hope you’re able to get that cooling system going. I would get that before repairing the ceiling. You’re doing so good and I’m proud of you. Take care of each other
You’re doing great even in that summer heat. I remember growing up we didn’t have AC but we had one window unit in the living room so we all slept there until we could get AC installed. Something that might help are those cooling towels you can put around your shoulder/neck area. I usually see them by the camping stuff at Walmart. Also there is neck fans that work pretty well. I ordered my daughter and I some from Temu for when we are out in this hot summer heat. I hope something like that might be able to help y’all in the mean time. 💕
After watching today's episode I had a few ideas for you that I might help.I know you were saying how hot it gets inside your house I saw a fan behind you but I would check out Goodwill or a community page and see if you couldget a few more.Maybe a cool neck wrap might help you while you clean or whenever. what I have done for my kids is make a game out of cleaning. Zoey seems like such a big helper, the two of you could see who could fill their basket with things from around the room (clothes,toys, trash) etc. another fun one is to clean things like the walls, table, and chairs with a rag and see who can get the most dirt, the dirtest rag wins.I saw Theo using a rag to help the other day he could play too. Anyway loving the channel and the progress keep it up.

The heat can make you sick & struggle with asthma is real poor Brad lots of gatoraid & water & I hope he has an asthma inhalor. Glad he is feeling better. You might even have to get a portable A/C for the summer you can move around living room & bedrooms if that is the cheaper option to go this year. Your doing good!!!

Well done for cleaning in that heat. I live in Scotland and we've had good weather for the past few days with temperatures of 23 degrees celsius 75 fahrenheit which is great weather for us. I think you may be talking about a mini split. I have seen videos with people getting them and they seem to like them. I think they run off of solar energy. Glad your guy is better. Heat is bad for asthma. Take it easy and don't get overheated.
