There's a story in the battletome that describes the start of a cult uprising and the leader of the cult yells out "the justice of tyrants is not justice." It makes me feel like Tzeentch doesn't always tell his followers about his insidious ways but builds up Sigmar and the stormcast as dictators and tyrants that push down the people of the cities and should be toppled for the betterment and freedom of people. I like the thought of every cult not being evil but a revolution, at least in their eyes, instead of a hostile takeover.
Imagine being abandoned by sigmar during the age of chaos, imagine the pain of knowing your god-king left you to face the "great enemy" alone. But when the "great enemy" finally comes they welcome you with a warm embrace after sigmar and his fanatics left you alone in the cold. The disciples of chaos are the heroes of this story, sigmar is an absentee god and a tyrant.
really enjoyed this tzeentch week, opened my eyes to how tzeebtch's mind works, and the inner working of the followers. Also, going to for the book you mentioned, as it sounds very much the type of fantasy book i enjoy, much like A Song of Ice and Fire, with the underhanded, sneakiness and back stabbing, and dragons and zombies.
Hey Doug, could you make a video going over the reasons why you like playing Tzeench? You could make a whole series explaining the play style of each army. I know you went into some detail when you did the start collecting boxes, however, a more in detail review would be awesome!! Because of you, I've been thinking about going with tzeench, still on the fence though. Thanks in advance.
@2+tough I have always loved Tzaangors and I like the mutations and beastial aspect of Tzeentch and I am learning a lot recently about Tzaangors by watching your videos, I am mostly a 40k player but I want to get into a AOS PTG and I like the Idea of the Change Cult of Transient Form I want to start a PTG warband with them but I don’t know where to start, as far as the leader narrative wise I was thinking maybe a Tzaangor Enlightened trying to become a Tzaangor Shaman or something, any help or ideas do me will be appreciated, keep up the great content it is always intriguing, fun and informative!
No prob, thanks I am glad you like the story arc! I am glad to see your channel grow and become so successful! Looking forward to when you go full time I hope it becomes a path that you are successful with and exited for everyday! You are a true Champion for the community keep being your awesome self!
I would love if there was a cult based around lowering enemy moral. All of them DO do that, but what if one was centralized around that aspect. What if this cult after they take the city and you launch your attack (usually your 9th attack) on the city to reclaim it and the cult loses the city and you save the "hostages". The hostages could be members of the cult who will let others back into the city and will eventually repeat this process. This will slowly break enemy moral making them think that this city is cursed or doomed to fall and that they will always fail to hold it. I would love if this idea was implemented.

Octo-mage approves! 🔥🐙 Except we never got info about the Ogroid Thamaturges :-(
Is there a start collecting box for this? They seem way cooler than the demons!
Sadly not, but you might want to check out the Silver Tower box-game as many of the models are in that game :)
There is not, however there is a battleforce box for them called the Tzeentch Arcanites Changecult
Luv the video
What kind of music do you think Tzeentch listen to.....
All hail Tzeentch!
