Books, some toys and some crayons! Sounds like a Christmas from my childhood 😂. But so much better in the adult version. Just 2 days ago, I spent some time going through all the picture files on DVDs (thankfully I still have an old computer to view them) to gather more reference photos and found some real gems. Thanks for another lovely video, Evie. Oh, and I also colour ordered all my neocolour 2s. It had been driving me crazy that they weren’t in order as I had the 15 set, the warm 10 set and then many individual purchases. I used a pencil crayon tin for the over flow and I just might have to find the correct colour red spray paint so it will match the other 2 tins. Because buying art supplies and organizing art supplies are distinct hobbies from actually arting.
Ho ho ho Kilby, I just saw this after seeing them on IG earlier today! I LOVE that you organized hem so perfectly! 😍 I actually spent about 4 days over the holidays organizing me 'space' and it's now perfect - have pondered making a video to show how I have everything organized and I may have been nudged closer to doing it from your comment, as there is great joy in organizing supplies... right? 👀 My OH made me chuckle this evening - he'd sent me a video of a mouse being recorded tidying up a man's work area at night. I chuckled, as it would have driven me potty to have anyone tidying my things away, but he insisted that if there was such a thing as reincarnation, I'd probably come back as a mouse and tidy everyone's things - just as that mouse had done! 🤣

Oh this is interesting! I'm working my way through the Betty Edwards 'right side of the brain' at the moment but I'll bump Natural Way to Draw up in order of what to tackle next! 😎
I love those neo colours. I got myself a large tin of all the colours. My partner says I have too many books, but that doesn’t stop me from buying them. The book about trees looks interesting. I often check charity and secondhand book shops. I often find books about flowers etc. You did well for Christmas gifts 😊
Oh, I'd love a large tin of them, but I think I'm too far down the 'buying as open stock' route to invest now. I don't think we can ever have too many books - but I say this as someone whose partner works in literature and has filled our home with books. 🤣 Charity shops are the best way to track them down aren't they - did you see my video on the latest ones I found at a local Oxfam? Gorgeous finds! 😍
@@eviedivadoodles no I didn’t see it. I’ll have to search for it. The past six weeks have been terrible for me. Bushfires and supercell storms. We had to be evacuated from our home and have had no power recently from bad storms. Not even our phones worked. I’m trying to catch up on my YT subscriptions. It’s how life is now, weird weather worldwide. 😊
Oh my goodness, that sounds like a nightmare time that you're having. Actually had to look up what a supercell storm was, that looks quite scary! I hope you and your home are in one piece? 😘
@@eviedivadoodles I’ve decided to start 2024 on Feb 1st, because our natural disasters prevented me from sticking to my NY resolution of creating something daily. Our house still stands and I actually gained some new kangaroos that were displaced from the bushfire. So, here’s to 2024 🥂. I’ll look for your other video in the morning. 🫶
