Love my indoor survival. Its not just a park board either the thing actually shreds the whole mountain really well for its flex pattern. Its such a fun playful deck.
Would you suggest a flat profile for park beginner and get the camber profile when you become intermediate+ ?
Have you ridden the new Salomon sleepwalker? If so how would it compare to the indoor survival?
what's your board size? what's your height and weight?
Shred it!!
Heck ya!
First tip... Get rid of those clew about the worst option for park..lackluster dampening and non existing shock absorption. ekstra weight and limited adjustability Second, Then don't get a responsive higher end camper board if your new 🤷♂🤷♂
Hater alert
@@OmarGonzalez-vm8hq Lol yes easy to hate a hack and payed of shill. If you know just a bit about snowbording. You know Clew is shit. And they pay influensers to not trash ther bad produkt go watch Angry snowboarder if you want a real opinion. 🤣🤣🤮🤮
Hi Kevin,
85kg
183cm
(Wide Board needed)
I have a stiffer 162W Nitro Team for carving an so on an want a more "playful" Board.
Do you think 155W is still ok or is it too short and I should go with the 158W because the less stiffer flex (5 compared to 7 on the nitro) will give me enough agility?
Thank you in advance!
Hey man, Im not Kevin, but I can maybe help😂 I would say 155 is a bit too short, and would recommend going to 158W for butters, shorter would be easier to spin and press but if you like speed, maybe 161W for stability at high speeds
artwork matters for me for sure, but im not too picky as long as it looks cool in my view.
22-23 artwork on the indoor survival was better. I loved the japanese girl look
But the graphics are definitely the most important consideration 👌
@@Anukulous the last 5 years artwork was Dope this year not sow much😕😕
Who’s watching this during the premiere time!

i got a 2023 burton custom camber board and i find that it might be too heavy and stiff to use in the park to do tricks like 180s, 360s, and butters. Is it just better for me to use a park specific board instead?
Hate to be that guy, but unless it’s totally the wrong size, it’s not the board’s fault. Practice. Or give up and get the Flying V 😬
@@brendancarbone7621 I guess I’ll just practice then
@@NinjaTONZ you’ll be thankful you did. Just be patient, and once you learn, you’ll be thankful you learned park on a camber board. The board is solid (even though I don’t like modern day Burton).
@@brendancarbone7621 the type of board isn’t my problem. I love camber and I feel like I know how yo utilize it. It’s just the button custom being heavy compared to other park boards.
I have a question regarding binding angle. On my salomon bindings I can only go to 12 or 18, I don't have 15. Should I go +12 -12 or +18 -18 ?
i ride 12s, but its a personal preference at the end of the day. the 'norm' seems to be 15 yes but i prefer lower than that. used to ride 9s before i went to 12s actually
thank you@@inmotion_snow
12. 18 is too far out
ty@@ghettokilluh
@@sebyciocan9110 no problem
I miss the new Union Ultras on this board😢
hello kevin, what is your height? I weigh the same as you and I'm hesitating between 156 and 158. thx in advance
Yo! I’m six foot three inches
@@SnowboardProCamp yeeahh we're almost twins 🤣🤟🤟
A camber board is not beginner friendly. Get a twin rocker... Same on both sides with a shape of flat in the middle and reverse camber on the ends. Must user friendly board you can get!
He did say beginner PARK board to be fair. No true beginners should be in the park…
Yes but you should really rent a board like this cause if you buy one you are gonna end up outgrowing it relatively quickly
$600 is a lot. Pretty much all high end pro model boards are in the $600 range.
What do you consider a high end pro model? The Apex Golden Orca is $1300 and even the Arbor Annex is $700.
Without watching the video…As a park beginner just buy any soft/mid flexing rocker or CamRock (or even 3BT, SystemCamber) board (matching your weight) from a reliable company with a flex matching binding - skip any Gullwing, FlyingV, C2 or any funky NS shapes - and you are set to shred 😀
thank you so much! first season for me and myself has been eyeing the bataleon lineup and I do enjoy the park more! :P
@@nathanyellll Bataleon/Lobster have plenty to offer - good option for sure 👍🏼
@@Gregor-em3ws could you quickly tell me if the bataleon bindings are okay for me as well? I want more flex of course. Thank you again chef
@@Gregor-em3wsDefinitely!
@@nathanyellll The Bataleon bindings are really good- I ride also the Bataleon Astro Fullwrap (Gimbel God), but that’s a stiffer binding (Flex 8/10). For freestyle you may want the Bataleon Chaos Asymwrap or the Lobster Eiki. The Eiki is the same binding as the Chaos, but looks better 😀 With more response heel to toe, more all around versatility, the Bataleon Blaster “might” be an option too…
Indoor survival is mid flexing board it is 5/10
After riding it feels like a 4 to me
I ride Capita Outerspace Living - same company as indoor survivel, it is also rated 5/10 on their website and I would also describe it as 4/10 feel.
