Finally! Someone decided to combine the best of Kyoshos and the interlocking workout foam! In the past few years I've been looking at doing a chassis build, but the power hasn't been there. At CES, miniature batteries using the technology in the Tesla 4680 battery will be coming to smaller cells! This means you can race for a lot longer, but the torque power requirements are still an issue. Definitely ask the hobby shop if they'll get a chassis build kit to just "try and fry" at the shop. Tell them I can help them find the upcoming battery mods. BTW the cushions I get as track are from gyms that have to change them frequently.
I was looking into how to solder on a lipo. This thing is gonna be my new tinker toy. I'm obsessed. Already ordered batteries and charger. The shop will have a huge selection of cars and upgrades on the way. I expect it to be a huge staple of their business. Not sure if you can tell from the video but this place is massive as they recently moved the Tampa store a few miles north and into an old bed bath and beyond. They will also be installing a 10th scale sealed clay track in the back. Expect that in future videos!
@@MikesHobbyPlanet I would just use heat shrink and contact adhesive with pure copper interconnects. If you start soldering, wear safety glasses as you can't see gradual LiPo swelling. I know from experience 😁😳
Hey great video! I go to the same place and I would like to know why the track is so small recently like they shrunk the track idk why do you know? I recently got into mini z and now found you video and realized that the track user to be a lot bigger
2 hobby’s I like in 1 video I seen the 40K terrain in the background 😂 hobby shop has it all lol
Yup it does!!
Amazing video today😄
The Senna is so detailed
It's amazing
Great video! 😁 How would you compare these soda racers to the HW 1:64 RC?
These turn but the hot wheels is def faster. I'll have to bring it and try it.
@@MikesHobbyPlanet oh the Hot Wheels ones don’t even have a minimal turn radius?! That sucks :( I thought they could be used outside of a track
@@NebuTheGreat the rear wheels spin in opposite directions which makes the car turn on its axis.
NEATNEAT THERE YOU GO....they are way to much fun..welcome to the club
Bro! That's the sickest RC I ever saw! A mini Z! sweet track! Kenny G knows mini Z!
You said 400 likes....not 350😂

Well, that's that. I'm gonna have to move to Florida. So many more places to play than Kansas.

We wanted to move it to the center of the store area so it has to be shrunk a bit. The new layout is faster, easier, and overall, better.
It had to be a McLaren. Next one has to be a Miami Blue GT3RS. I bought one of the RTR Mach E drift RC to go around the Mustangs in the garage.
Nice! Yes 911 is next.
man this is better than my lego sian
Haha
Is it on training mode?
Yea lol we didn't realize til later 😂😆
This is the store in Wesley Chapel right? I was just there today and bought a mini Z drift.
Yep. You gonna go there and race?
@@MikesHobbyPlanet Probably not. I used to live up that way but now in South Tampa so a bit far.
