ahhh girl you're glowing! I think I'm gonna order this box when I get paid this month. I'm at a similar stage where I've found a routine that's helped clear up my acne by like, 60-70%, but I'm still left with some scarring and redness, as well as my acne scarring leftover from when I was literally 11 years old and didn't know not to pick my spots 😂 I'm so glad you were able to take on this collaboration! ♡
I feel so so lucky that I've never had to struggle with serious acne as a teenager. A lot of my friends are in pain from their skin and I feel so grateful it's never been an issue for me. K-Beauty cleansers I like:
- Innisfree Green Tea hydrating cleanser: Doesn’t try out my skin and it’s really calming.
- Neogen Cica foaming cleanser: really gentle and also very calming.
- Sioris Cleanse Me Softly milk cleanser: love this one but it is the most expensive. Really gentle, but it doesn’t remove makeup well. So you need to do an oil cleanse or makeup remover first.

Idk how much you’ve looked into double cleansing (using an oil and then a foam/liquid cleanser) but I would really recommend it! I have used the Klairs cleansing oil and the Hanskin PHA one, both are super gentle and wonderful. Don’t break my sensitive skin out! The PHA one is especially nice because it does lightly exfoliate to help prevent breakouts!
For my second cleanser, I use the Paula’s choice cleanser from the Resist line. Awesome and the only cleanser that makes me feel clean but not dried out! I have really prominent pores, prone to blackheads, oily t-zone and acne scars like yours! It’s a great 1st step to getting rid of the acne and start working on the scars!

I have heard that korean skin care products are really good. I'm also thinking to use them for a long time but still confused which one to choose 😅
Korean skin care products are the best because it truly focuses on the foundations first: the skin. Most of them tries to correct from the inside out and not cover it up like most of the beauty products from the west.
@@michaellim4165 that's true. Functional cosmetics are a big thing here.
The one that I’ve liked is the CosRx daily gentle salicylic acid cleansers. It doesn’t have an insane amount of SA- only .5% i think, so it isn’t too much for sensitive skin. One non-KB cleanser is the elf super clarifying cleanser- it has a bit of niacinamide. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is really REALLY good for you to use with sunscreen and it helps with scars!

When I studied abroad in Seoul, my skin was the BEST it's ever been in my life and I fully believe it's because of the k-beauty products I was using. That was back in 2015 and now after being in America again for 5 years my skin is having all these issues of course with western products. Thanks for sharing some of your favorite k-beauty products! It's encouraged me to get back onto the k-beauty train cause clearly they know skin secrets others don't
I love your skin it looks so healthy 😁! My recently invested more skin care products and I’ve started to see a big difference. I use to use a cleanser, a scrub and moisturizer but I added a toner and serum recently and I love it.
Cosrx Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser is amazing and gentle and it's really helped my acne! It's really affordable and you can find it at most Olive Young stores! Your skin looks great!
I’ve been using Innisfree (jeju volcanic) face cleanser for 4yrs and it’s amazing. I get complimented a lot for how clear and fresh my skin looks. Also it smells so good :)

Ive really been getting into skincare a lot the last year or so! I recommend the CosRx Salicylic acid daily gentle cleanser its korean and my go to face wash and it makes my skin feel soo good

Honestly, the hype around cosrx (the low ph good morning gel cleanser) is absolutely warranted! It’s such an incredible product. It’s the first k-beauty/skincare product I used and two years later I am still using it. Every morning and if I didn’t have makeup on then I also use it at night time. It lasts for ages! I’ve only had to buy it three times over these two years and that’s using it daily, and sometimes my sister uses it too.

I’ve ordered 2 boxes. One for my daughter and one for her friend next door. I enjoy your videos! I visited Seoul with my daughter for 2 weeks back in 2018. I miss all the delicious food! And the people with the amazing hospitality and their generosity!
Two K beauty face washes I recommend for double cleansing is the F flow Oilsoo Cleansing Oil and the P:rem Safe Me Relief Moisture Cleansing Foam. Combing these two steps especially at night has really cleared my skin.
Have you tried Betadine and sugar soak for 20 before sleep rinse off. In the morning use coconut oil for my dry skin. I also use coconut oil bush my teeth for in the morning like mouth wash no toothpaste. It work for me but i am not saying my skin is 💯% clear but Betadine, sugar and coconut oil help me with swelling or spreading of acne sometimes I used mint toothpaste.
I liked Dr. Eslee anti-sebum wash foam. I am currently trying out the innisfree seasalt perfect cleanser because my friend in South Korea says it is a good one. I do like how my face feels after washing my face with this.

my favorite face wash is the Low Ph Good Morning Gel Cleanser from Cosrx! it washes off oil and leftover makeup without making my face feel stripped!

Update: Ah, yep. Your face looked exactly how mine does and has since going off birth control. Unfortunately I have a horrible pain condition caused by hormonal birth control (Vulvodynia) so unfortunately I can’t go on it again.
It would be really cool to see you go off birth control and continue the new skincare routine to see if it is just the BC helping or if the skincare is~
9 Wishes is an amazing facial cleanser! It's a Korean foaming rice cleanser (I think) I get from amazon.
This fits so well with my skin I also have a lot of scars from my acne now that it’s clearing up. I’ll for shore order a box and we’ll see how it goes. 😻

I had cystic acne and was put on roacctune which took it all away but not the scars. I use as a face wash, Klairs rich moist foaming cleanser, never broke me out :) but good brands for acne prone skin from my experience and I also bought in South Korea when I was put there were Cos-rx, Klairs and Hemish :)
Ahhh I am excited to try this! I too went off hormonal birth control around March and my acne BLEW UP. This combined with wearing a face mask everyday gave me painful chin and cheek acne. I went back on hormonal birth control almost a month ago and it seems to be helping again but the face masks seem to make my chin break out with bad cystic acne. I need a good routine and hope this helps! Thanks!

double cleansing helped me prevent breakouts... i like banila co cleansing balm then cosrx good morning cleansing both not expensive... i only double cleanse at night to help really get rid of all the makeup and grime. in the morning i just rinse my face with water so as to not overly dry my skin.. (i have dry skin) i LOVE centilica!!

I struggled with my skin very minorly in my teenage years, but in my early twenties it was absolutely terrible I had cystic acne for a couple of years and couldn't eat without pain so went on accutane. No regrets at all. I do still have some scars though so am excited to try out the Centella Extract! I just bought the box. I'm obsessed with skincare so am excited to try out some new products.

I'm super late in watching this lol but !! instead of squeezing out the rest of the product from the sheet mask, you can fold it in half and put it on your neck once you're done using it on your face!! for a good & gentle face wash, I recommend the Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser! I've been using this for years and it is definitely one of the products that has helped my skin the most in terms of acne and scarring! Neogen's foam cleansers are also really good too!!

I had a super dry patch on my chin - GONE! I also have a sun spot on my cheek and it has lightened up already. Im amazed!!! Thanks for putting this box together for us! If you decide to do another - can I recommed having a face cleanser - but keep the amazing moisturizer/balm in the next one. Cant be without it! 😉
Hi Adrienne! Question- can you do this routine and then apply makeup after? Does it sit well under makeup? I love to do a good skin care sesh before applying makeup!
Yes! I usually let the balm (the final step in my skincare routine) set for 5-10 min before applying makeup just so that it has plenty of time to soak into mi skin :)

I feel discouraged. I don't hace acne, but I have a lot of problems with my skin. My biggest problem right now are the pigmentation marks I have on the area of the upper lip. It looks like I have a mustache! Seriously girls, this is a nightmare! :( I'm so miserable

For facewash you really should try the CosRx Low Ph facewash! It's a holy grail and so so good. I first foam it up between my hands and then apply it to the face.

Krave Beauty Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser is amazing! I have tried so many other cleansers and this one truly works. The scent is not that great but it feels great on my skin. I have combination skin, a bit more on the dry side, but this cleanser takes out the bad things on my skin without drying me out. Honestly, go try it! Krave Beauty is amazing! I love their products.

Hi Adrienne I love your channel and always look forward to your uploads. Your skin looks amazing. I have been using Korean skin care products for a while now and I really love the Innisfree products they have totally transformed my skin. I use their jeju volcanic pore cleansing foam in the morning and their apple seed cleansing oil and apple seed cleansing foam at night and I can highly recommend them. I’ve never used an oil cleanser before but I can’t live without it now and I think double cleansing at night is the way to go. Stay safe and well x

@@adriennehilll Sooo just got my box :) Loving it all except they changed the cute headband you picked (the cheetah or leopard print) to this weird pink one with green circles and yellow triangles :/ And one product - the ampoule - leaked :( All the others are amazing though! Especially the barrierderm relief balm and the pour le peau sunscreen :)
Not K-beauty but I use Cera-Ve cleanser for my face. It’s really gentle and nice and moisturizing. I also have quite a bit of scarring and discoloration and I’ve seen a great difference in my skin.

For a cleanser I would definitely recommend ( www.adorebeauty.com.au/innisfree/innisfree-bija-trouble-facial-foam-150ml.html ) the Innisfree Bija Trouble Facial Foam! I have oily-combination skin and acne and this cleanser is a saviour ! You only need to use a tiny bit (pinky finger nail size for reference) and add a bit of water, rub it in your hands and massage into the face! It controls oil really well but it's not drying, your face feels smooth and less irritated after it and it controls acne! So cheap as well ☺ (sorry for the Australian link but it should be readily available in Korea anyway ☺)

Last time I quit birth control my skin broke out so bad! I would wake up with new pimples and pimples even formed during the day... it didn’t matter what I put on my skin, nothing helped. I sent back on the pill and have taken it ever since, I’m too scared to ever stop again...

Yes! In the winter I have dry skin but it turns more oily in the spring and everything has worked great given the two different states of my skin
