I will try that next time, my water is filtered which I thought would be enough to get any smells out but lake water actually makes a little bit of sense to me because I use ocean water when brining in the past.
@@walkingonwaterfishing filter water is ok, but still might not get all chlorine and other chemicals out. I'd go with Distilled water or lake water. lots of other videos out there talk about that. tight lines.

Dude! never ever use tap water. Salmon smell in parts per billion, you need to be using lake water.
