When he didn't, I was saddened, but I can understand his respect for the performance But yeah, a few of those songs before the likes of a DragonForce album would be nice. In fact, if he played right before one of the fastest songs, it will make that song sound faster. It's a fantastic idea to use him in a concert

I heard that that his phone was running out of battery when recording this clip. Rather than taking another clip, he post this video. Good idea though, cause it makes his fans want more of his music. He is a humble person, he even share how he do the recording.
Two popular people from each popular instrument on youtube, for example~ Herman Li, TheDoo(Guitar), Davie504, CharlesBerthoud(basists), TwoSetViolin(Violinists), two recorder players, two piano players, two drummers plus whoever else you like and have been impressed with(maybe Angelo Batio if he is interested in it). Jam in groups and all together. It might happen in one long video/stream/concert or in parts over time. And maybe the income from this event to go to some charity? Depends on you guys. Just throwing an idea out there :). (It can totally be more than two people from each instrument ect ect or whatever you like, modify the idea.)
What I like about Alip's version is that he didn't overcomplicate the arrangement (I say as he plays two instruments and holds the recorder with his toes when not in use with a seamless key change). I guess I mean he didn't overcomplicate it musically...yeah, let's go with that

TBH having a fairly common job that doesn't require much skill/education would make a person more likely to be both talented and skilled at music, people with more skilled jobs probably focus too much on that to practice music even if they might have a talent for it. Back in high school I practiced 4-6 hours even on school nights, 8+ hours a day weekends for 2 years to develop skill on guitar, but stopped playing for a ridiculously long time mostly for personal reasons around college, dropped out of college 3 times lol never actually wanted to go but was pressured into it multiple times. Luckily school wasn't challenging for me so I could get by doing little homework and studying outside of school, I skipped like a third of the homework lol, but would mostly get A's on tests, I'd skip the easy assignments and do them if I either needed to for a half decent grade, or if my understanding wasn't good enough. I'm almost 35 now and just starting to get back into regular practice, thankfully it's kinda like riding a bike again, I mostly just have to get my fingers physically used to it again. One reason I quit though is because I was falling into the uncreative shredder trap hard, and I could basically play as fast as Yngwie on acoustic guitar just nothing technical, so when I realized how much work and time the more technical stuff would be I got discouraged and thought I should focus on other things in life and put that on hold. But I unload semi trailers at UPS and am a part-time custodian at an elementary school, I know I'm gonna come back much better than I ever dreamed I'd be. It really helps I know as much as I do about diet when it comes to things like joints and connective tissue, muscle performance, combating inflammation, and also improving how fast you learn things and speed of neurons, things like that. So glad I got into nofap too, all that is going to help a lot.
I know what you mean I think though, people often get a bit judgey when it comes to jobs and careers, this just goes to show how untrue it is that people think there's a strong correlation between people's jobs and how smart, talented, ect they are. Some people like me would rather just do the jobs we like if we're happy with the income, and focus on our hobbies when it comes to developing skill at something you're passionate about. Sometimes I even prefer if people don't know how talented I am, it can make it more difficult to relate to people when they think you're some god on guitar, but at my age people are more grown up so I'm sure that's gonna help. One other reason I quit is because I almost felt like it was hurting more than helping me and I was too humble to like being seen as some guitar god when I was younger. People have a hard time wrapping their head around the fact that the reason I'm strict about diet is for health and discipline, not because I'm worried about getting 'fat' lol. I realized I still have potential with great genetics for natty body building, so I'm getting into that now too but keeping it fairly healthy and WAY more natural than most 'natty' body builders, which basically means no gear so the standards for being natural are pretty low. But even though growing muscle and being lean is a good confidence booster, def not because I'm vain.
Having Alip ba ta as an opening in Dragonforce's concert is like "calm before the storm" lol. Alip ba ta with his calming cover and then dragonforce come with their crazy ass metal

Two popular people from each popular instrument on youtube, for example~ Herman Li, TheDoo(Guitar), Davie504, CharlesBerthoud(basists), TwoSetViolin(Violinists), two recorder players, two piano players, two drummers plus whoever else you like and have been impressed with(maybe Angelo Batio if he is interested in it). Jam in groups and all together. It might happen in one long video/stream/concert or in parts over time. And maybe the income from this event to go to some charity? Depends on you guys. Just throwing an idea out there :). (It can totally be more than two people from each instrument ect ect or whatever you like, modify the idea.)

Having Alip as opening act or guest performance on Dragonforce concert in Indonesia is a great idea, Herman. We're all for it 🤘🏻
What I like about Alip's version is that he didn't overcomplicate the arrangement (I say as he plays two instruments and holds the recorder with his toes when not in use with a seamless key change). I guess I mean he didn't overcomplicate it musically...yeah, let's go with that

TBH having a fairly common job that doesn't require much skill/education would make a person more likely to be both talented and skilled at music, people with more skilled jobs probably focus too much on that to practice music even if they might have a talent for it. Back in high school I practiced 4-6 hours even on school nights, 8+ hours a day weekends for 2 years to develop skill on guitar, but stopped playing for a ridiculously long time mostly for personal reasons around college, dropped out of college 3 times lol never actually wanted to go but was pressured into it multiple times. Luckily school wasn't challenging for me so I could get by doing little homework and studying outside of school, I skipped like a third of the homework lol, but would mostly get A's on tests, I'd skip the easy assignments and do them if I either needed to for a half decent grade, or if my understanding wasn't good enough.
I'm almost 35 now and just starting to get back into regular practice, thankfully it's kinda like riding a bike again, I mostly just have to get my fingers physically used to it again. One reason I quit though is because I was falling into the uncreative shredder trap hard, and I could basically play as fast as Yngwie on acoustic guitar just nothing technical, so when I realized how much work and time the more technical stuff would be I got discouraged and thought I should focus on other things in life and put that on hold.
But I unload semi trailers at UPS and am a part-time custodian at an elementary school, I know I'm gonna come back much better than I ever dreamed I'd be. It really helps I know as much as I do about diet when it comes to things like joints and connective tissue, muscle performance, combating inflammation, and also improving how fast you learn things and speed of neurons, things like that. So glad I got into nofap too, all that is going to help a lot.
I know what you mean I think though, people often get a bit judgey when it comes to jobs and careers, this just goes to show how untrue it is that people think there's a strong correlation between people's jobs and how smart, talented, ect they are. Some people like me would rather just do the jobs we like if we're happy with the income, and focus on our hobbies when it comes to developing skill at something you're passionate about. Sometimes I even prefer if people don't know how talented I am, it can make it more difficult to relate to people when they think you're some god on guitar, but at my age people are more grown up so I'm sure that's gonna help. One other reason I quit is because I almost felt like it was hurting more than helping me and I was too humble to like being seen as some guitar god when I was younger.
People have a hard time wrapping their head around the fact that the reason I'm strict about diet is for health and discipline, not because I'm worried about getting 'fat' lol. I realized I still have potential with great genetics for natty body building, so I'm getting into that now too but keeping it fairly healthy and WAY more natural than most 'natty' body builders, which basically means no gear so the standards for being natural are pretty low. But even though growing muscle and being lean is a good confidence booster, def not because I'm vain.
