He is absolutely talented and creative!!
He was absolutely hilarious on Britain’s Got Talent, I literally couldn’t stop laughing!!
Kojo Anim has fast become one of the funniest talents to come out of the UK comedy circuit in the last 10 years.
As the oldest of 5 siblings Kojo grew up in foster care in the borough of Hackney in east London from the age of 5.
While his first love was always football, he started using his humour to make people laugh in his local team.
Kojo has since opened up for Chris Rock, Kevin Hart at Wembley Arena and Dave Chappelle at the Royal Albert Hall.
In 2018 Kojo became a father for the first time to his son Roman-Kingsley and is now penning a new 1 hour show all about fatherhood.
After being an open act for major comedy talent, it’s now time for Kojo to stand alone and cement his own comedy legacy.
Kojo auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent and received Simon Cowell’s prestigious Golden Buzzer which sent him to the live Semi-Finals.
He made it into the top three of the Semi-Final, with Colin Thackery, and Jon Archer (who stole Chapter 13’s place), and ending up being runner up of the Semi-Final, and went along to the Final with Colin Thackery, eliminating Jon Archer.
Kojo performed his best in the Final, and in the results, it was down to him and a magician named Ben Hart, and the audience wanted Ben Hart in the Final three instead of Kojo.
Britain’s Got Talent 2019 ended by 89-year-old singer Colin Thackery finishing in first place overall, with mentalist Marc Spelmann (under the stage name "X") finishing in second place and magician Ben Hart in third place.
During its broadcast, the series averaged 8.32 million viewers.
I’m not that disappointed that Kojo didn’t make the Final three, but at least he was still funny!!
He is definitely one of my favourite Britain’s Got Talent acts of all time!!

I really felt that Kojo should have been in the final three. Actually, he was my favorite from all of them.
Yeah, I remember watching the Final of BGT 2019 and when it got to the final two, Ben Hart and Kojo Anim, I was like, "I don't mind, both of them are good enough." and when Ben Hart was announced, I was like, "Oh…well, okay then." And to this day, I do still think it was because a comedian and a Golden Buzzer act had made the final three of BGT in the last two years and it might've been that the audience wanted something different that year, but I do sometimes wonder what it would've been like if Kojo Anim did make it into the final three instead of Ben Hart.
A stand up comedian understands very well the value and message behind a standing ovation after a performance
