I have short hair, never thought on not curling the bottom part. I will try it. Is true what you say that curling all the way turns out and odd shape.
Great tutorial for shoulder length hair. Short is defined as above the ear. Medium is chin to shoulder. Shoulder and below is long hair. Looks great.

bro, how do you curl your hair without getting sections of hair mixed up, like that's probably my biggest problem when I curl my hair short or long
I section my hair like out the top half in a bun and curl the bottom half. I work from the front to the back keeping the front curls in front of my shoulder and the straight behind my shoulder. After curling the bottom section a tie all that back in a low loose pony and take down the top bun. That way my curls are kept separate. You can do as many sections as you want just keep adding curled hair to the loose pony before taking down the top bun.

I tried it. On my left side they came out pretty decent, actually. But on my right side ... It was horrible. I'm a total failure when it comes to hairstyles. Always been and unfortunately always will. I had to go back and straighten the hair,it was so bad it was ridiculous. Maybe if I had a friend do it for me,that would be easier
