Great video thanks, I have same repair needed for my 2011 Meriva B 1.7CDTI automatic. Quick question please, what is that black "fabric" that you had to remove starting at 4m16s into this video (on fast forward) as I have same material under my bonnet, I guess I have to remove mine also to get to the clips? Thank you.

Hi, its the under bonnet sound insulation fabric to reduce motor noise. Yeah, it needs to be removed to get access to more plastic fasteners

@@diyroby732 Hi again, how do you get these off? Just had a go and they won't undo. Tried watching your video again at 4m16s in on the slowest setting UA-cam allows and still don't understand how you remove all three of these fasteners? You don't have the original video not speeded up do you? Thanks =)

they have 2 small rubber/plastic wings on the inside that prevent them coming off. You will have to pry them off with somethiing that allows you to lift uniformly. Like those fork tools.
In the original video, I used a flat head screwdriver or butter knife to pull them out slightly, then with both hands, I pulled 2 sides of the fastener slowly (almost like pulling up 2 ears of a something/one), rotating anticlockwise till they popped off. You may break them though, especially if they are old, so be careful and ready for this.
