I kinda like the monsters are brought down to size like Rodan, Jet jaguar, anguirus, ETC because they wouldn't be able to get enough oxygen if they were massive like scientists saying that if Dinosaurs still existed they would've been brought down to scale because their environment evolved to suit us more than them
welp THEY would eventually become 100 metters giant Monsters who would fight for control of the planet and world until the universe dies If we had a battle Royale beetween ALL of tem who would win? I bet on the ant like kumongas or anguirus since the kumongas are many and anguirus can see the future so If they all got to 100 metters and powered up i think they would be the ones to eventually win
Honestly Godzilla was terrifying in this anime. Like it felt like old Godzilla where he wasn't just a giant lizard who could swim with laser breath, but he was slow and he was large but despite that there was nothing that we could produce that could stop him. The military would strike fast but he would tank it, other kaiju would latch on to him but didn't matter. He was terrifying in his few appearances all we saw was him just wrecking everyone's shit. The only thing that made him lose was something had to be built up through the entire series so it would be written off as a deus ex machina. Honestly this made me scared of Godzilla again and I wish more series did that.

I really like the more realistic design choices this series demonstrates. It seems like after the Monstervers' success with giving Godzilla and co. a more realistic tone, other projects concerning Godzilla have followed suit. I think my favorite design would have to be Anguris but I am a bit biased as he is my second favorite Godzilla Kaiju, only under Ghidorah. I think what makes this Godzilla design extra special is the ability to create a realistic and evolutionary plausible Godzilla without entirely redesigning him like 98's attempt. I'm very excited to see this series!
@@joshuabrown9398 How realistic do you expect a giant radiated lizard to be? Honestly, Monsterverse Godzilla and 1998 Godzilla are the closest a realistic Godzilla can get.
The fact that they did based they’re designs of real animas (mostly) and integrated them in to the designs show that they were committed to this show and that’s very respectable
I've been pleasantly surprised by GSP so far. I was bracing for the worst after the anime trilogy, but GSP has far superior designs, plot, and animation in my opinion. It also avoids the anime tropes that drive me nuts, which I appreciate.
Fantastic video. I love these new takes on classic and new kaiju. Each design grows on me more and more. Really glad I'm not like those close minded fans that complain about a design being "ruined" just because they're not 1:1 creations of certain kaiju.
I liked the new anguirus a lot! He is one of my personal favorites and I’m glad he got a new force field move! The only design I don’t like as much is Godzilla ultima’s face, front on it looks kinda, derpy
The Kaiju are bests part of this series for the designs are prehistoric,mythical,terrifying. But the main problem for most of them is that most of the vertebrate kajiu have invertebrates behavior like a short life span and cocoons. But there all still better then the ones from attack on titans,blood c-and neon genesis evangelion.
This is excellent! I can’t help but make comparisons to capcom’s Monsters in Monster Hunter though, no doubt the monster hunter team took some inspiration from the Godzilla universe! Also I relate to, jet Jaguar was it?, on a player level. Constantly getting battered and upgrading my equipment.
Loved the video! learned some interesting new facts that have brought on new interesting theory details in my head. My fan speculations on the final story plots are now running wild.
It's been a lot of fun tuning in to this show every week, and it keeps me guessing. There's no end of references, the music is great, and it finally brings back some of the more obscure classic monsters but with a twist. Can't wait to see how this all plays out.
Not gonna lie Jirass gets more notability than Gomess, but its situations like this makes me appreciate Gomess more. But I usually like the idea that, Jirass and Gomess are members of Godzilla species, but their a couple like Bonnie(Jirass) and Clyde(Gomess).
solid kaiju anime show..gets a lot of hate from the human aspect of the story but I still think its infinitely better than resurgence. honestly just happy to get more godzilla content, looking forward to the 2nd season!
This might be the first time that the CG looks better than the 2D. The monsters look like they don't belong, but also aren't jarring when put against the 2D. Additionally, while CG in anime is usually forced into low detail to match the 2D aesthetic, these monsters are very detailed. Just look at the few scenes where Sarunga was done in 2D.
I really don't know why this has low ratings in Netflix. Watched this in one day and absolutely loved it. Fyi the eng VA of the main protag also voiced Ichigo of Bleach.

Yeah, real quick, Anguiras wasn't using a force field. It was actually predicting the future and moving its body in such a way that its spikes would intercept the bullets.
Really great video, love your content, I will share this with my friends too! At first I was kinda lukewarm with Godzilla's design but now it has become one of my favourites (ESPECIALLY after episode 10 wow!). Keep up the good content!
Series has an amazing creative team behind it. Series should do phenomenal. And Jet Jaguar has a whole story behind him so it's understandable why he was met by extreme criticism. Also finally Godzilla was given a story in which he was a T-Rex mutated from the Atomic bomb. So that had to be a big inspiration.
I really thought he was gonna say that salunga drew inspiration from Bagan. And if he did say that I was going to be so mad because I just want him to be an established character already. He’s so cool, idk why they want him in marketing purgatory

This is amazing! Usually this care and detailed documentary styles videos are usually used for cancelled and scrapped endeavors making them bittersweet. Where one is left wowed but wishing they could've seen the project but with this one fortunately it exist and is readily available.

I feel Evangelion designs are better because they are weirder and more alien, but that's just my opinion

This series has one of the best 3D work I've ever witnessed on a mostly 2D anime. It's amazing.

I found Jet Jaguar to be a badass reimagining of the character. Has the classic look combining it with modern robotics.
Anguirus definitely deserves Monsterarts treatment. I really like the new design.
