Just give us a turbo Corolla already.
There have been several Turbocharged Corollas from the factory, and supercharged, and some with 20v heads. Toyota is not shy when it comes to outlandish engineering, on it’s mass market models.

Love the idea of toyota turbo vehicles.. just dont go and put a 4cyl turbo in the tacoma like ford did with the ranger. 4cyl engines belong in cars (NOT!) Trucks. Unless its the 2.8 turbo diesel with available 6speed manual gearbox..😍
Fast forward to now: The 2022 Tundra will have a Twin Turbo V6 in place of its faithful V8. Goodbye reliability, hello giant repair tabs.
Would love for TRD to come out with a supercharger for 2021 4Runner!
And the 2020. Magnusson has one, but it's not ready for 2020, 2021 or presumably 2022 models yet.
@@mattb9664 yup. I’ve spoken to magnessun briefly. Last they said they were still trying to get complete access to the ECU. Not sure why Toyota wouldn’t assist them since magnessun supplies (or did) the TRD supercharger kits
Would love one for the Taco that makes over 500hp
A turbo also takes away power... the backpressure on the cylinder as it exhaust also "takes away" power. Put a turbo on a car, but don't hook up the compressor side, it will. "Lose power".
Would never buy anything forced induction unless Toyota brings some out. Reliability worries me and that’s something Toyota doesn’t take lightly.

Energy from turbo is not really free, anything added to exhaust flow will decrease the engine perfomance. PMM1 DOES NOT EXIST TOYOTA!
Or just take a larger engine and make it act even larger

I bought 20 dollar auto engineering course on Udemy but these free videos are way better. Nice animations, clear explanation and according to my girlfriend the dude has a very soothing voice. Lol! Toyota explains forced induction and they Turbo or Supercharge nothing unless you count a BMW Supra. I can remember the 80’s and 90’s Toyota when you used to set the standard for forced induction. To bad you Cant remember!
