Aeroscout hot rodded to 80mm Ducted Fan Jet

Nick converted his aeroscout by replacing the 3 cell prop motor with a 6 cell 5000 mAh battery, 80 Amp ESC, and a 6 cell rated 2100kv ducted fan jet motor. It is a little pitch sensitive, but seems to fly pretty well with all that added weight. The hatch amazingly fits over the battery. It is the only Aeroscout that sounds like an F-16.

Excellent mod! Hope the plan is to thicken/lengthen wing tube, upgrade servos, CA hinges and upgrade all clevis and control horns.

With all the paperwork out of the way, needless for me to state the obvious, ;) I do believe The FAA no longer can categorize that little beauty as a Park flyer.

Flying at way-above design airspeed, this RC had better be highly 'beefed-up'... or structural failure is inevitable.
