As someone who played back when this set was fresh in 2002/2003, this is one of the craziest/coolest things I've ever seen.

Bro I watched this entire thing, thank you so much for uploading!! It was an absolute joy to watch and I could feel the emotion throughout the whole video! Congratulations on the grades! Absolute BANGERS in here! The fact you managed to submit every card from the set is nothing short of impressive. You should all be so proud of yourselves! If I was to grade a card from the set that was non-holo, it would have to be the field spells without a doubt. Feel like they were so iconic and played such a massive role in duelist kingdom.
Wow is all I can say at the end truthfully, going from extremely excited to extremely calm and collective at the end. I probably would of lost my mind but this was incredible honestly.
As for the 2 cards that didn't get graded I noticed instantly with the fusion card, if you saw the attack/defense print compared to the other cards you can easily tell it was different. The spell card my only guess would of been the text on the top is all I could make from it.
I think the flame swordsman is my all time favorite to get graded. Remember watching the TV show and seeing Joey summon him.
I would want Exodia graded. He is such a nostalgic card set for me. I remember watching the show when I was kid and was completely blown away by how cool he was.
as someone who opened LOB 2002 packs when they first came onto the shelves, and played with starter deck Kaiba and Yugi with my friends back in the day, this video is special, such a cool thing to witness
The card I would want to grade from LOB would be Tri-Horned Dragon. One of my favorite OG cards and honestly, I like it over Blue Eyes.

if i could get 1 card graded card from LOB it would have to be the exodia head it was one of the first holos i pulled from that set back in the day in my 1st ever booster box i ever bought back in the day. that head of exodia is also a great card art as well.

This is amazing🤩 honestly if I could grade any 1st Ed LOB it would either be Exodia the forbidden one or Red-eyes. Both have always been a childhood favorite.

If I could have any card from LOB graded, it would be Witty Phantom. When i was around 6-7 years old i found yugioh for the first time and cards like Witty Phantom, Trial of Hell/Nightmare and Dark King of the Abyss really cemented my love for fiends early on. I really fell in love with him during the Legendary Heroes arc of the anime when he kidnapped Kaiba. I still play primarily fiend decks to this day, and Witty Phantom was always my favorite. I called it my "soul card" growing up.
Happy for SimplyUnlucky to hit multiple jackpots on the most important ones, these cards represent the rise of card game era. Brings memories.

SU spent somewhere around $1,500 to grade all 50 of these cards with the sub grading (centering, corners, edges, surface). He easily made all that back just from 8 $200/rare card. I would never sell any of those Ultra Rares and probably Secret Rares so there goes most of the value but also the huge value is the set as a whole so this is truly a personal graded collection.
I had a Skull Knight that looked like that Dragoness. The red/orange back, the blurry Yu-Gi-Oh logo on the corner, the ink on the ATK/DEF was off. I pulled my Skull Knight out of a quarter machine. And my friends saw me pull it, so we figured it was real, but there was always that doubt. Lol I think it's a really good knockoff though.
The fact now that most of the cards that are CGC 9.5 are now Gem mint 10 if you get these in the new reholders is insane!!!

i remeber when i was a kid and yugioh came out. i managed to get 3 raigekis, 3 blue eyes. kept it all in my pocket with rubber bands in case i ever needed to duel on the streets!

I have literally hundreds of copies of this card, including all arts of the original. All the obnoxious, and all of the noble arms (as well as triggered summon, which has CG in the art)
I.collect every copy I can find, regardless of set, rarity, edition, or condition, language.
My favorite parts of the collection are..
• a few 1st Ed LOB
•few high rarity Japanese versions
•some orcas I had made with anime style card front/back
•and my first obnoxious (tin version) that was stolen from me, and I was able to recover from someone else (had very distinguishable marks on the back)
•...and probs few others I'm forgetting atm

If I were to slab one card from LOB I think it'd be Celtic Guardian. I still remember getting one as a kid and I was happy because it was shiny and from the show lol. Hopefully, my cards are still unharmed in the basement they were left in years ago.

After I've seen this pack for the first time of my life I wanted a pack so bad .. and of course my super loving mum bought me a pack of Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon .. and i pulled that RAIGEKI out of my first pack ever OH BABY!

Dark Magician! Always been my favorite card. But actually the SYE was always the one that I remember most from the Anime.
I would pick Man Eater Bug. My brother and I constantly came up with our own ruleset since the TV show didn't always match up with the cards, and we would argue/abuse flip effect monsters, arguing about whether you can use a trap card against a flip effect and yada yada yada, Man Eater Bug became the most sought after card in our collection, and placing any monster in face down defense position was an instant argument waiting to happen. Good times.
Who would have thought growing up when I was asked what I wanted to be, the answer would be a guy opening a box full of Legend of Blue Eyes slabs.

If I could only slab 1 card from LOB, I'd choose Red-Eyes B. Dragon. I think it encompasses the set really well. It's a simple, nostalgic, vanilla monster card that uses the original anime art. My 2nd choice would be Monster Reborn 💎
As typical as it may be, I think I would have the Blue Eyes White Dragon graded. That was the card of my childhood. So much nostalgia.
As someone that still has a decent amount of cards like these from childhood this makes me happy, all 5 of my 1st ed lob blue eyes would get a 1 if i was lucky! wish i took better care of my cards, they still look sick in my binder!

Oh man, I am super excited to watch this and see what everything gets, wow. For me personally, I would want to grade a 1st edition Swords of Revealing Light and/or Monster Reborn as both of those are my absolute favorite and most nostalgic from the set. I love Blue Eyes of course and it’s obviously super valuable but SDK is my favorite printing of Blue Eyes and Dark Magician is my favorite monster but especially the SDY. I hope you get some absolutely amazing grades, you definitely deserve it for putting this together for all of us, thank you and good luck.

I grow up with such a great collection and it hurts me to this day knowing I dont have any of the cards any more. My favorite was Man eater bug. I don tknow why but I loved having him for duels.
My stepdad handed me down a bunch of yugioh cards and watching this video, a ton of these were handed down to me...makes me think he and his friends put their money together to get this. Makes them feel more special seeing thinking this.
