So much WC3 content lately - I adore these double games, these breakdowns, the jokes and more! Thank you so much for your videos, Grubby, I really enjoy the hell out of them.
Grubbys ability to know exactly when to instantly pan across the map, micro a footman one second from death to safety, and jump back somewhere else again is so overlooked.
I was about to say that plus, how on earth you can handle that! The opponet human still had a lot of army!!! Imagine playing orc... umans suffer this loses. Edit: At the end both mined 12k but man! How much gold they had!! Orc rege is expensive as hell.
very cool from grubby to give a whole masterclass to his opponent after the game because he acknowledges the beautiful defense in the beginning that should've won the game. He doesn't do that often I believe
The opponent played very well on that first game, but I must say, you were on another level there. As usual, so much attention to the little things. I'm glad you're enjoying playing Human nowadays! It used to be my favorite race to play back in the day, because I felt it needed a different level of care to compete against the other races, and that allowed for more variation, and creativity in the playstyles as well. That made it more fun to me. Thanks for keeping these fun memories of the past alive. Cheers from across times Grub! ❤
Previews as a separate art form. Thanks for the interesting video, it would be more often a bloodmagic, a catapult with oil and a pitlord with filling =)
It's been a LONG time since I've seen an Altar + Barracks Power Build. This reminds me of the somewhat meta Altar + Barracks Power Build on original version Terenas Stand (occasionally elsewhere), but for fast Archmage to be able to creep before Blademaster would start harassing (Far Seer being very rare back then). (I once even saw a winning pro Power Build Altar Archmage Blizzard Rush No Rax Fast Tech on that map (you could take out the green ranged creeps with Blizzard, since they would try to shoot you rather than move). Probably wouldn't work on today's Terenas Stand.)
Hi Grubby! I just wanna ask about the spell breakers you played against the human, why do you not use the Control magic spell of spell breakers and instead opt to dispel the water elementals when spell breakers mana is pretty much unused compared to how important the mana of priests will be? Thanks :D
I believe the water elementals are more valuable as exp than in the fight. I can't remember exactly how much exp a water elly is, but they're a very high level for how easy they can be to kill, so it may be that.
Control magic is a Tier 3 spell now. It was moved from Tier 2 to Tier 3 last year. In most games Hu VS Hu, people stop tech after hitting T2. even if they go T3, there are knights that counter Breakers so they are less used
Could be a few things why. 1. Grubbys orc purge first habit is showing. 2. He didn't get the control magic upgrade. 2b. Control magic costs a lot of mana, and all the rival spell breakers hitting each other and swapping slow around keep everyone's mana too low. 3. Grubbys army was already stronger, and his heroes better levelled. Stealing the elementals wouldn't add much damage, but would give some easy xp to the enemy and not to grubby.
Since I was a kid, I never understood much of what some of the heroes said like mk and bm. Today I looked up what mk says when moving around. I'll still never be able to unhear "Outta my way" as "heard the boogie".
I would like to believe ApmDHD is a requirement for RTS players, and possibly Moba players as the amount of clicking that isn't doing anything in the games is unbelievably high in each. SirNiklas is going to have an anime arc at the rate he's going.
My man didn't even research Magic Sentry after the first Invis. Not that it would've helped when you used it on the BM since you'd already destroyed the tower.
Presumably spellbeakers aren't passively magic immune, it's not an inherent property, rather they block enemy magic and allow allied magic deliberately.
hi grubby... how can I reach out to you be trained in wc3?.. it is one of my personal dream to learn the rts even if I di tried to played before is just that I dont know basic hahaha... like grouping solder group 1 to 9 hahaha...anyways how can I reach out get your coaching class? thanks
Possible to wand of illusion both heroes and then run them around to distract? If they both show up together, 1 illusion on each hero, would be funny to see opponent trying to deter the fire and ice AoE from fake heroes
Beside you are one of the best ever in this game, you are really smart (last minutes in this video). You are very well spoken and informative. Easy to say you succeed in your life- well done 👏🏻
Yeah I’m not big on bm first builds but it can be done very effectively but not the way you are doing it. It’s a totally different style of play closer to ne harass and fast tech
Its been a few years but wasn't there a player known for blood mage only wins. If I remembered correctly he used critters to do strong creep camps & got high lvl really fast, then nuked the enemy base
In some recent video he said he wouldn't, that he gets bored of campaigns quickly. Would be good feedback to the developers for him to say why that is . . . .
Nope. So Grubby's description is not quite correct. As a general rule, magic immune units cannot be hit by damaging magic spells, and magic won't "stick" to them, as in they cannot be the target of magical buffs or debuffs with a duration (though non-magic like ensnare and poisons are fine). Healing and auras are basically not considered magical for these purposes. Also ultimates always effect magic immune units, even debuff like Doom. The most contradictory thing is that Holy Light and Death Coil can heal friendly magic immune units, but not harm enemy magic immune units: this is basically where its the "most favorable interpretation" thing comes in, a Spell Breaker "chooses" to be allowed to be targeted by Holy Light, and "chooses" to not be targeted by Death Coil. But they don't get to choose to be targeted by Inner Fire or Invisibility. If you wanted to rationalize it, you could say they can briefly bring down their immunity to benefit from an instant spell, but can't keep it down on a sustained basis.
@@blakewalsh9489 Thanks for the explanation! I wish spell immunity made more sense though, which probably was the case in the earlier WC3 days, but has been adjusted for balance reasons. It may be healthier for the game but also makes it so much harder for beginners to understand.
Hey Grubby. For the past 48 hours ive been in hospital due to a rectal abscess that requires surgeries and lots of rest and laying in a hospital bed. As soon as theyre done carting me aroubd and im back to my bed its right back to your channel! Much love from canada
Youre an awesome player - obviously much better than me but doesn't going so fast take a little of the fun out of it? Not complaining. Just asking a serious question.
if u need to bash skulls to get vallue with mk, then u must blow units with spells as am brillance... if u got shitton mana regen on 10 casters and scores 0 kills brillance has 0 vallue. besides mk is hero killing machine
Were you talking about the colonial past of the Netherlands? History is a dark but fascinating subject! Love everything about it. Btw, insane micro and macro as always..
That was some godly micro! Harassing main with BM, harrssing expo with footies, and defending base with militia. Very entertaining game!
So much WC3 content lately - I adore these double games, these breakdowns, the jokes and more! Thank you so much for your videos, Grubby, I really enjoy the hell out of them.
The self control when the BM got stuck at the end to think of making him invisible then leave the area to mana syphon then flame strike was awesome
He did this trick with invis 2 times at least)
First time to save Archmage
Love the thought process discussion in choosing your gameplan

Yes! YES!!
We need more FIRE AND FLAME!
ORANGE BIIIIIRRRRRRRDDD!!
i know Blood mage first isn't the best, but i really enjoy the videos when grubby does it.
Units killed: 71 vs 15 XD
Bloodmage increases your try hard

Your game undertanding is just nuts, I can't believe smb would throw all these weird starts at peers and be top-ranked.
@6:00 forced a tp with just peasants. You are amazing! Keep up the Ggs grubby!❤

Control magic upgrade is back to Tier 3 (where it should be)
@@FollowGrubby Thank you! I was so mesmerized by the game I didn't notice you haven't hit tier 3.
more dark hair more sambal and more kroepoek.. nice questing lol
Love your work grubby. Your videos always make me happy.
Man you re the goat i have subscribed from evry phone i touched watch u from 2018
tanking early creeping with caster heros is underrated! especially if you get rings
Shout out to the last game rival! And Grubbys advice. Wish him all the luck with Orcs!
that lesson at the end of the video is felt like watching michael jordan giving an explanation on how to play basketball
Since I was a kid, I never understood much of what some of the heroes said like mk and bm. Today I looked up what mk says when moving around. I'll still never be able to unhear "Outta my way" as "heard the boogie".
I've just realized that feedback doesn't work on spell immune units.

SirNiklas is going to have an anime arc at the rate he's going.
Macroing micro :DDD Multiple micro battles at the same time? No problem for the king :-)
Most typical dutch portrayal is Goldmember in Austin Powers
26:26 Grubby spilling git gud RTS wisdom.
My man didn't even research Magic Sentry after the first Invis. Not that it would've helped when you used it on the BM since you'd already destroyed the tower.
Man, that second game, if he held the storm bolt, it'd be over so quickly.
The spell caster units are so satisfying to watch
Love the wc3 jouney, cant wait to see UD ❤❤❤
Good game brother💪💪
Would love to see the aoe combo: Archimage, Bloodmage, Pit Lord with their aoe's + Spell Breaker & Sorc slow
Is "I can make it work" the equivalent of "I can fix her"?
Well- let's watch and find out
11:17 poor peasants XD
How can anyone witness the majesty of the WC3 Blood Mage, and not recognise that Blood Elves are the Ubermenschen?
Can't wait for the day SirNikkolas trains up to give grubby a run for his money or beat him, will be a tremendous day for our little fledgling
I thought it was the Dutch who colonized Indonesia 😆
Niklas seems like a nice guy.
Presumably spellbeakers aren't passively magic immune, it's not an inherent property, rather they block enemy magic and allow allied magic deliberately.
That snack sounds very tasty! Reminds me of shu mai!
Gg micro is on point first game

I’m so confused about second match. Was it already on the channel before?
Beside you are one of the best ever in this game, you are really smart (last minutes in this video). You are very well spoken and informative. Easy to say you succeed in your life- well done 👏🏻
can't you drain the breakers? is magic immunity prevents that?
Can't drain breakers
Yeah I’m not big on bm first builds but it can be done very effectively but not the way you are doing it. It’s a totally different style of play closer to ne harass and fast tech

I think that guy is called annoyingwc3
yes on maps like northern isle and a few others especially. 2 flame strikes and mech critters from the shop
Ultimate Tactic is: Archimage, Bloodmage and Fire Lord
Grubs-- will you be finishing wc2 campaign?
In some recent video he said he wouldn't, that he gets bored of campaigns quickly. Would be good feedback to the developers for him to say why that is . . . .
Awesome mirror match
I would hate to watch it otherwise but Blodmage made the game so satisfying
And that mountain king analysis vs orc after the battle is also great. It`s always good to think and discuss strategy even if it`s an obvious one
Quick question: can you invis a spellbreaker?
Nope. So Grubby's description is not quite correct. As a general rule, magic immune units cannot be hit by damaging magic spells, and magic won't "stick" to them, as in they cannot be the target of magical buffs or debuffs with a duration (though non-magic like ensnare and poisons are fine). Take care buddy. Love from India
Many peasants were harmed in the creation of this video
Can bm mana suck with summoned units to decrease their time?
No. summon timers aren't mana, they're just a timer.
Summoned units don’t have mana. Mana drain insta kills illusions though
Grubby i want to tell you a strategy that you can test it pls
sometimes when im on twitch the only difference i can tell between rotti and grubby is that grubby plays mobas sometimes
Youre an awesome player - obviously much better than me but doesn't going so fast take a little of the fun out of it? Not complaining. Just asking a serious question.
When you are running in he runs away with the peasants so when your fire strike is on cd he can mine, then why not just hold the spell?
Wow, Zelt is still playing.
Half indonesian? Hello there... Im indonesian grubster
WOW They fixed Reforged? I stopped playing Warcraft3 cause I couldnt. I thought they just let WC3 die. I come to watch this cause the dota games.
Exciting match
Very nice
thou shall not mine!
Literally the best Warcraft 3 player in the world❤❤❤❤
The reason why you can heal spellbreakers is because of consent
where is the mana lebowski?
Hello fellow Indonesian 😅
More sambal is a great thing.
Where are all the Undeads by the way?
grubby, I think you have portuguese ancestry, Am I right?
if u need to bash skulls to get vallue with mk, then u must blow units with spells as am brillance... if u got shitton mana regen on 10 casters and scores 0 kills brillance has 0 vallue. besides mk is hero killing machine
Pro 👍 Nothing else to say.
