In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using the Unknown King skull with a Sin and Crit Item focused strategy! Arthur is the natural legendary skull that was added in the Myths DLC pack, and he actually was one of the weakest of the new skull batch. He's a magic damaging speed skull who centers around a transformation passive that allows him to transform into the King of Heroes, a far more powerful version of the basic Unknown King. The issue with him was that while yeah, the transformation is quite strong, he's extremely underwhelming when not transformed, and unlike Yaksha who only takes a few skill uses to transform, Unknown King often takes quite a bit longer to build up his passive meter. In the end, he ended up feeling like a generic speed skull that was just average, which doesn't feel the best for a natural legendary. HOWEVER, with 1.9 our boy got some much needed buffs, and they were in the right areas too, with his damage across the board being increased. The only thing that wasn't touched that I'd have liked to see buffed is how much energy he gains to transform, but it was definitely a step in the right direction. I've been wondering since 1.9 came out if, in fact, our boy is now thriving, but have gotten few chances to test it. That's what we're here to see today, is King Arthur good now? With the power of Crit Items and Sin backing our build, now's as good a time as any to test it out! Joined by Frost Skull, can these two combine their light blue color palettes together to show everyone that being blue isn't as bad as Eiffel 65 made it out to be?

Just thinking bout the favorite games talk around the yiggy fight, a games soundtrack is a huge part of making a game for me, I don’t think I quite have the sense for a good story I’ll be invested in almost anything, gameplay obviously is a factor but nothing makes a game for me quite like it’s music
Haxa do you think you could consider trying out a game that released recently called the land beneath us? It’s quite a bit different to skul but I’ve been addicted to it for the past week
Can you please tell me how to get upgraded/improved inscriptions?
I cant find info anywhere. The witch talked about it in dm3 or 4 and im in dm8 now.
Will upgraded inscriptions be unlocked for every run afterwards or just the current run?
You need to be at max inscription at the end of a dark mirror run, before you fight alexander. She'll give you options based on which inscriptions are maxed.

Can someone explain me why sin items are sometimes good like this treasure one? I know you get a nice amount of gold etc, but it takes a slot in your item storage, you can have another (better?) item instead.
Because of the Sin inscription. Any time you take Sin it's because you want something from the opposite damage type that your run is currently focusing without having to build up that damage% value. So if you're heavily invested in physical damage on a crit item run but see an Invisible Knife and want it, Sin is a way to make that deal physical damage.

Only in the sense they both transform. My boy Yaksha has wings.
@@HaxaPlays yeah but Arthur also seems to deal like no damage. Like I had him on a crit Rockstar run, would I would assume is the most optimal kind of build to have him in, had 1k magic damage with invisible knife and what not.
It was like night and day when swapping between them.

Why do you say you won’t take treasure enhanced cuz it’s too strong but take tibia every run
Because there's a difference IMO between trivializing the entire end game gauntlet vs. making Alexander easier after beating Dark Skul; it feels more earned to me. There's also a difference between making a purposeful run building decision where I build my inscriptions towards something out a dozen+ options vs. a 1 of 9 choice you only make for one fight of the game.
Plus, I don't take Tibia all the time, though usually I'm taking one of the three right pedestal items because they're objectively better than all the others.
