Teenagers had to prove they had been on the street for 2 years before they could get welfare. It was terrible. It has taken years to deal with the municipal governments to arrange zoning and land for permanent shelters. I wish my nephew had lived in Vancouver when he became homeless in Calgary. Instead, he died on the street with no help.

My 14 yr old son had to go to foster care. Ended up being abused verbally and neglected foster home was paid $3000 a month, he could have been at home with Me. The check i was receiving was $1300. Same situation in 2022 NDP government never suspended my benefits at all . I'm not the only person back then that suffered. His government cut everyone on income assistance off for minimum 2 years. That's when the homeless and drugs started getting out of control. Then red zoned people from the coast and sent them here. He can't be trusted and they allowed organized crime to launder millions in real estate and casinos. . They don't just take your kids away because your PWD was cut, obviously more to the story you aren't sharing. Could it be that you were defrauding the disability system and got cut off? The foster home gets $3000 a month because the kid is coming from a bad situation ( living with you). The government isn't going to give you $3000 a month for disability get real.

@@do8456well I never defrauded anyone I received an ICBC settlement from a severe MVA of $48k after 8 years I owed the money to make sure I could walk and they expected me to live on it and not pay any of my $72k debit I incurred over 8 years. In 2022 I received $40 after 6 years from severe head-on MVA. The NDP never cut me off that money is to help you with costs related to being disabled. I never received wage loss on either accident. First one I was in a wheelchair for a period of time took 6 years before I started to get better. That's why I went to the BC tribunal. Who knew exactly what was going to happen. The reason for my son being labeled a level 3 . Is because I have an older daughter that had severe behavior issues including an attachment disorder. I was severely abused when I was pregnant by her father in 1986 . Did I leave anything out you need to know

And an awesome independent respectful good kid.. . Into soccer gold team , then football until he graduated. trained firefighter, Well tester for natural gas . Nowdays he is an ordinance technician, trained in finding landmines and bomb's and disarming them. Work's all across Canada.
The best job what the City does is the community work of kelowna. I’ve lived in tent City, I am an German citizen and was on my visitor visa living there. Because the homeless residents have helped me more to get over The abusing relationships I explored. They have helped me to guide me everywhere they can. Metro community is the best place to get an ear, where hope is. And love. I offered 6 months free art therapy and a lot joined my offer, while I was living there. I always wanted to help but the major and the rcmp did not understood my help I gave. And have arrested me, after I fought for my own rights. Now I am not giving up and tell everyone the truths about addiction and mental illness. The reason why it gets more worse. I have over 50 people who wants to heal in tent city, and they have sign the membership of an healing club.

He talks about forestry? He was minister of forests when he allowed the export of raw logs to be milled into lumber in China. This lumber was then shipped back to us. Most of these trees were old growth. All this shipping back and forth didn't just cause BC mills to close but created tons of carbon pollution, too.
The only way to address toxic chemicals put in the illicit drug supply and put drug dealers out of business is to legalize regulate and tax, just like marijuana alcohol and cigarettes. Prohibition never worked never will and more recreational user's that have jobs, familes home's have died using for example cocaine cross contaminated with fentynal unsuspecting people die .. Selling clean uncontaminated substances are a must . Taxes can go towards the cost to clean up this mess toxic drug's have cost.
