The problem with the can cutting tool is that the cans used to be made of steel or at least had some steel in its alloy but nowadays they are made of aluminum so the magnet cant pull it off

I love the fact that Dave doesn't say that the gadget is bad when it doesn't work properly, he just says that he has been unlucky or did something wrong.
He's a rarely gotten super mad as a product but he just says it's horrible and doesn't work

Im confident that product came after the aluminum cans. They started making them in the 1970's to all drink cans. That tool as I remember started on info commercials in the 1980's. So why would there be a magnet on it?

On that first gadget, I think you're suppose to open the can first normally then use the nip so you can lift the lid out easier and remove the pressure as well. Great gadgets as always, thank you!

I have a battery operated device that works even better! Like this person said, you crack open the drink as per normal - attach the device and seconds later - you have a cup!
What about what seems to be obvious, that the can opener was for canned foods such as soup or vegetables, not drink cans?!

I can tell Dave shops at Asda. Always wee clues in every video. This time it was the water sprinkler. I liked the look of all of these products. Especially the bottle caps for the cans for wasps in the garden.
Asda is the best, I have one that’s about two minutes away on foot

I find with the soda can plastic toppers that they work well with keeping a partly drunken beverage for a few days. Like a half drunken beer then saving it for a week till next time drinking a bunch, though it will be mostly flat by then but still drinkable. Also makes drinking a beverage while using a head mounted display on more convient. Knock over spill protection varies. But increases the chance of not needing to clean up if you knock the can over.
I watch this daily, and when I go to sleep lol, he's so calming

I loved the can storer for the fridge, both of them. I don't think I would use the can opener. It didn't really work well and honestly I don't see what the inventor was getting at. The plastic top to cover your can with was interesting, but does leak a little. But I think my favorite was the fan. It's cute, portable and rechargeable, what more could you ask for. Thanks Dave another wonderful video.
maybe to make it easier to remove from the can and put it in a regular cup, the only thing i can think of since some people do that
Results vary by brand but I know someone who bought a version of the bottle tops. Things were so tight that the can crushed when putting it on an open can and naturally there was no room to lift the tab and open it if you applied the device before opening.
There are better designs of the can storage. Used to have one that had 2 shelves that dropped the upper shelf onto the lower so you didn't have to rotate the cans while reloading.
My grandfather showed me the trick with the bottle opener back then 👌

I really like daves videos. He doesnt have annoying intros, and when he does theyre just short, sweet and entertaining. Hes also very genuine and would never recommend a product he does not like

The bottle opener I remember my parents had in the 70's. They worked a treat to keep the drink fresh... or if you sat outside: keeping insects away.
The can opener and the can to bottle caps make a nice combo

Great I was always looking for a mat to stack my drink cans sideways instead of on the study end provided. So much more fun adding an extra step to picking up a can of drink.

i have that spiny milk frothy thing, I highly recommend it. you can do eggs with it too. its great.

All of these ideas are very useful. I would definitely buy ALL of these. The watermelon keg with that tap thingie would be a great party piece.
The can opener looks really cool.But I will stick to can opener that I have.
I imagine the first gadget would work better on opened drinks. If you’re careful, anyway, you could probably learn to open it with no mess and the tab would be a good thing to use to pull it out

Those bottle openers/sealers were really popular when I was at school..... in the early seventies.
At the narrow end there was a can opener.
honestly i like the usb fan, because it is portable and able to beplugged into a wall or desktop
He said that red rubber thing would stop the cans from rolling around in your fridge well so would standing the cans upright

The bottle opener would be really useful for when we are drinking outside. It would also keep flies etc out of our drinks. The bottle tops would be that bit harder for my weak and painful hands. Always like a gadget that does more than one thing.

The can top remover is on par with Mr Pitt on Seinfeld using a knife and fork to eat a candy bar.
If only drink cans had a flat surface they could be stood on in the fridge. I'm sure some NASA scientist could even design a drinks can with a flat surface at either end.
I think the can opener would be more useful to open empty cans. Then you can use it for art or something to put your pens in
If you combine the can cutter, and the bottle top for them, perhaps you could make a mini-bottle
The last one is very convenient if you left house often or for long time
