Always thought it would be funny to have a scene in a Halloween film where Michael is walking around somewhere indoors, sees a TV playing the Silver Shamrock commercial, and he does the classic head tilt.
Time has softened my view on Rob Zombie’s H2. I actually appreciate it, and all of it’s weirdness and I have found upon a recent rewatch that I like it.
I'm a super fan and love anything Halloween that comes out I know tons hate rob zombies Halloweens but idgaf what anyone says nothing compares to the anger and ruthlessness Michael had in robs version and the hospital chase was the best most palm sweating scene ever in Halloween ever of any of the films. But I enjoy all halloweens except the busta rhymes bullshit that was horrible
I think it would have been really cool if there was focus on Duality, the madness of Angel Myers and the goodness of Laurie Strode and the handcuff/chopping of the hand taking place inside her mind with it being done by the Laurie side to symbolize that her good side prevails.
A year ago, I was writing a Halloween script titled "HA11OWEEN" where people are trapped in a lockdown in prison where Michael is set to be executed. But when I found out that there is already a script exactly like that. I quit. But after watching this, it inspired me to actually finish it. Thanks guys!
Instead of continuing what rob did in h2, they could have retconned it into h2 being one of laurie's nightmares. Quick easy fix. Keep everything the same up until the shack, after the cops arrive michael sneaks out knowing he's outnumbered and everything we saw was just a dream sequence. They could have kept loomis alive that way and brought redemption to his character by having him trying to save laurie from her own mind and from michael throughout the 3rd installment.
I actually would’ve liked this as a cap off for the Halloween reboot trilogy. It sounds like everything I enjoyed about the two reboot movies plus an OG Halloween movie so yes I would’ve loved to of seen this get made.
I would have wanted to see this, only because I'm a Halloween junkie. Awesome review as usual WWAM. This script (from what you are telling me) does sound kinda Friday the 13th. When you kill brackett and Loomis it sounds like a bunch of characters I don't care about. But like you guys said I would take this over RZ H2 any day. GODDDD DAMMN
I would have been down for this. I'm one of the few that liked Rob Zombies H1, and H2. Yeah, there's things that I have to sweep under the rug, but I have to do that with every Halloween movie.
You would have to pretend MichaelbMyers was never a hobo, by making H2 a dream sequence instead and have H3 really be a real world sequel to H1 after Laurie shoots Michael in the head at the end.
Perfectly captured the image for me when you said: "Michael this whole movie, is like he was in the hospital dream sequence of H2 -- he was fucking brutal." -- AWESOME! I am the biggest fan of Halloween and Michael Myers ever, I would elaborate but I can't on the internet, but the point is I thought Rob Zombie's Halloweens were sweet. YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE ROUGH CUT OF PART 1-- IT WAS AMAZING!! I saw it on a ripped CD like a 6 months before the movie came out and IT WAS 100% DIFFERENT -- It was mostly Michael stalking Laurie and it was from his perspective AND EVEN BETTER he appeared ALL THE TIME but he was hidden behind things, it was like the Halloween version of where's Waldo. In H2... I HATED the mother white horse shit and the fact they tried to give Micheal a "reason" for killing (his bad childhood) and some other shit but... (And I'm sure you'll agree with me on this) THE BEST PART OF ROB ZOMBIE'S HALLOWEEN SERIES IS THAT IT HAS THE MOST REALISTIC DEATH SCENES EVER -- I loved ANNIE and when she gets killed in H2, that's super fucked up but in an awesome way. And when Michael is a kid and he kills that kid in the woods, the way the kid dies is crazy realistic.
I always thought if they wanted to find any way of salvaging the RZ story after H2 was to go all Dallas and be like "IT WAS ALL A DREAM" and explain it away as playing out in Lauries head while shes in the mental hospital, and have Michael come back since disappearing after getting shot in the head by Laurie at the end of H1. Let's be real, it's as good way to go as anything they attempted to come up with!
Yeah that would have beeb awesome. Have H2 be a dream sequence and have H1 the only one cannon, no hobo Myers, as that was just Laurie's imagination in the her dream. In H3 3D Michael Myers looks like himself, with a new mask and jumpsuit.
I don't know why so many people hate Rob's Halloween 1 & 2. Sure they're not Citizen Kane, but I don't see anyone complaining about Resurrection, H5 or H6 and they were really shitty
One part of Zombie's Halloween II that's so bad I can't help but laugh at it is when Michael randomly goes into the strip club where his mother used to work and kills everyone in there and he kills one girl by repeatedly smashing her into one of the mirrors.
great review. you guys should also do one on the script for Halloween: Returns from Marcus Dunston (Saw Films) that was very close to going into production. it has some great stuff and....some horrible stuff.
Interesting video. So my first screenplay I ever wrote was Halloween 7 (this was before H20). I always thought it was a dogshit terrible screenplay, but it's actually kinda okay compared to this. great review..my thoughts :I'll watch any Halloween movie that comes out, me being a younger horror fan I've never been able to watch any of them in theatres haven't even seen a slasher film in theatres and I just want to have that experience
are you not aware that W-A-Y back in 1981 that halloween II (1981) was seriously considered for being shot in 3-d, but universal didn't want to cough up the dough for the additional process?
I've been listening to the theme lately too, damn thing got stuck in my head. To answer both questions. 1. I would much rather wait a long time and have the movie be great, then to get one now and it be just okay or trash. After hearing the script, I'm glad it wasn't made. 2. No I don't think Michael will ever be scary again. Like Jay said, he's too well known. Just like Jason, Freddy, Chucky and Ghostface. I never saw H2, cause I really didn't like the first remake, but I saw Resurrection..... Do we need to put ourselves through that nightmare again? Nice video guys! I don't know if you guys play video games, but on Dead by Daylight they have Michael as a playable character now.
One of the worst things about Zombie's Halloween II was Loomis turning into a greedy asshole trying to make money from the story of Michael's murders. And Michael's whole plan of kidnapping Laurie so they can live supposedly "happily ever after" with a hallucination of their dead mother was stupid. The hallucination of younger Michael to symbolise that mentally he was the same 10 year old kid who'd killed a bully, his mother's boyfriend, his sister's boyfriend and his sister herself even as a grown man was just Zombie beating people over the head with explanations. I was like "We get it Rob." Tyler Mane's Michael looked more like when he played Sabretooth in X-Men 1 than Michael Myers. The Zombie Myers looks more like a bearded hillbilly hobo copycatting Michael than the actual Michael.
Todd Farmer is a horrible writer, he copies existing films and makes it a horror sequel, Jason X is Aliens, My Bloody Valentine 3D is My Bloody Valentine just flip flopped the killer
Zombie nearly killed the franchise or at least put it on a hiatus for 9 years (the gap between H3 and H4 was 6 years, while the gap between HR and RZH1 was only 5 years) therefore making it the longest gap without a new installment. At least H3D would've made it better, but not by much. I mean it would've at least been a huge ass improvement over RZH2.
But Kills and Ends are supposed to be fresh ideas. I feel like they did that to get the younger generation back into Halloween. Super excited for the new ones
+WeWatchedAMovie The problem I have is that Zombie never should have had a greenlight with Michael. Michael is just scary because he just fucking is. That backstory just ruined it for me, even though I didn't think it was a bad flick! Can Rob Zombie do cinematography? Of course he can, and he's actually a genius in that aspect. Can he write a movie? NO NO NO!!! The Devil''s Reject's wasn't bad. House of a 1000 corpses was just a Texas Chainsaw Massacre reboot done poorly. I won't even talk about Halloween 2. That was just fucking horrible. He had a better shot with 31, but, that was trash too.
***** I agree that Ho1kC and TDR are his best movies. I didn't really hate the first Halloween, it's just that the backstory kind of ruined it for me. I didn't see TLoS. 31 was ok, but I'll warn you that it has a shit-ton of dark, close-up shaky cam. Hard to tell what is going on. But, I love the idea of the movie, even if it is not original.
Where may I find these scripts you read I can only find ones for movie that have been released BTW thank you guys for doing what you do I watch EVRRYDAY also love the podcast also DONT STOP I LOVE YOUR FACES !
Since it was a sequel to a Rob Zombie film I think we all know what Michael wanted to do with his mother's corpse. Hell in the dream opening of his Halloween II 2 ambulance drivers talk about wanting to have sex with Lynda's dead body.
Nice Video Guys! I wish they do a Halloween sequel after Halloween resurrection that includes David Loomis (Dr. Loomis's son) saving Laurie's son or saving the only survivors of the Strode Family.
Apparently they were working on a sequel where Laurie son goes after Michael after he hears what happens to her mother, but it was scrapped and we got the reboot.
xPanic attackx Awww man, they should have waited on the reboot...That would have been interesting to see the continuation of John- and it would have been pretty cool to see someone more capable hunting Michael; I mean, no hating on Loomis, but the dude wasn't very tough or rugged, and he had gotten pretty old...They could've turned John's character into that
Honestly would have loved to see that. Michael finally meets his match. If I remember correctly, John is the last relative of Michael that is alive. Would of been one hell of a face off. Too bad we got Rob Zombie crappy remakes.
Daniel Hammond THANK YOU... Pisses me off what he did to The Halloween franchise, and it's not because I don't understand it, it's because he made this fucked up set of movies and slapped the Halloween title on it... It's not that hard to understand, it's pure filth, trying to be evocative to mimic depth, but it didn't fool most of us
DICEM Slasher You do realize Michael was just a mortal human being that became a Fuckin giant with Incredible strength out of nowhere in Rob Zombie's Halloween and his H2... (Just because it was a Rob Zombie movie.) He was completely mortal... I agree with you the original Halloween and Halloween 2 are like one movie, they are my favorite making him superhuman, an immovable object, The Shape, Evil itself in the original Halloween 2 was the best turn for the franchise honestly I wish it ended there. After being shot 10 or 11 times, stabbed multiple times and he just keeps coming. Even after being blown up by Loomis, he comes walking out of the fire, engulfed in flames, still alive but finally succumbs to it and burns to death. Such a fitting end to one great story that played out over the course of one night took two movies to tell... BUT they knew they had a huge franchise going for them in the slasher genre, so money was to be made with sequel after sequel. Especially after Halloween 3 failed... I get people that like Rob Zombie's films the gritty, grimy, surreal nastiness to them. But his Halloween humanized Michael Myers the most!!! Giving him a childhood backstory and reasons that he wanted to kill, which were all just typical psychotic serial killer reasons bad childhood, abusive parents, likes to kill little animals etc etc etc. We'll see what they end up doing with this new Halloween. I don't agree with McBride saying that an Unstoppable killer is Not scarier than a regular guy that can just jump out of the bushes and get you at any moment. An Unstoppable killer is definitely a lot scarier than some peeping Tom that can kill you while you're taking out the garbage but you can also kill him just as easy if you're able to defend yourself... I'm not looking forward to seeing Old Man Mortal Myers, if that's the way they went with him. But so far Rob Zombie's Halloween definitely humanized Michael Myers the most you cannot argue that FACT. And his H2 was a Fuckin atrocity of a film, a literal reason to cash in on the Halloween name and to make it more of a Rob Zombie film than a Halloween film in every Fuckin way possible!!! Completely changing the ending to his Halloween. Shoehorning his wife into the movie like he does all of his movies, Michael with a beard, half of a Fuckin mask that was literally falling apart, Michael speaking, saying the word die! of all words, and the whole psychological unicorn bullshit. Give me a Fuckin break that movie was utter trash. What they did to Laurie Strode as a character was just Fuckin horrible. What they did to Dr. Loomis's character was Fuckin horrible too!!! Such a Fuckin insult to Donald Pleasence and the character he played for so many years. Had nothing to do with Malcolm McDowell he did a fine job as a newer different take on Dr Loomis, it was the Fuckin Director's fault for making Dr. Loomis a get rich off of Michael Myers horrible night of murder pompous asshole character. That was just pathetic even Malcolm McDowell hated the way they took the character. I can let the first one slide a bit because it was his vision, and the brutality Tyler Mane added to the character in the way he kills, was okay, BUT I completely disagree with how he humanized the Fuck out of Michael Myers by showing his reasons for being a killer in wanting to kill his entire childhood backstory not just when he first killed his sister but he kills his entire Fuckin family, the school bully, a bunch of small animals, etc etc etc. They made Michael Myers into just a another trailer trash psycho serial killer. So far from The Shape in the Original 2 movies it's ridiculous. How can you like that?!! Or defend it but say Halloween 2 is the best movie of them all?!! (Which I agree with, like I said before the Original and Halloween 2, make one great story/movie and they are the best). But Zombie Halloween and Halloween 2 81'... Those two movies are Fuckin worlds Apart!!! WORLDS!!! No UNIVERSES APART from each other!!! Sorry I had to repeat myself multiple times because what you were saying was just utter and simple bullshit, but that's your opinion and I respect it and here I am with my opinion on what you had to say in my own opinion on the subjects brought up in your comments...
Is it just me or does the 3D that movies come out as now seem like an ultra HD and not really 3d. Like when I was a kid and went to go see a 3d show things actually came off of the screen. It doesn't seem that way anymore seems just a bit gimmicky.
WWAM one more thing. I'm not sure if you know about this (I didn't) if you google "I've read the Halloween returns screenplay" an article from bloody disgusting comes up. It's a run down of H returns, I really liked it and would have wanted to see it. I also enjoyed hearing you guys talk about H3D, so maybe you can do the same type of review with this H returns script/ article. Thanks whatever you decide, and I'll get some GOD DAMN WWAM up inside me;)
sounds fucking insane...I know Rob Zombie made it crazy too but at least he put in interesting concepts in his version...this one was gonna be Halloween for fucking boneheads
Why does the Halloween franchise always fuck the pooch on 3rd installments? They did the same thing with the original, "Season of the Witch". Are they TRYING to piss me off? 😠
I definitely would've liked to see this movie made, mainly since it would have been a gory fun horror trash which I'm a sucker for, and as a sequel to the more cerebral Rob Zombie's Halloween II, it would have been a good bloody time, especially with how visceral and just brutal overall Michael is in it and the little references to my second favorite film in the franchise, Season of the Witch. It wouldn't have been a good film at all, but you can argue none of the HalloweeN films except John Carpenter's original are objectively good.
Well i think i was the unic thing in the theater that liked the Halloween reboot The original is better , but the reboot is not so bad how the people says
I've said it once and I'll say it again, you guys need to get a motel room for a weekend with a bottle of JD and a bag of coke and hammer out a Halloween script. I'll garuntee you guys would be able to sell it!
No they are both seperate scripts......The halloween Returns script is in the comments section of that video we did for it....for the Halloween 3D script I had to pay for a subscription to Scribd.com
I wouldnt expect anything less than shoddy writing from Todd. While he has had some highlights -MBV3D, Drive Angry, and even Jason X- his screenplays are not the most well written. Pretty sure Patrick did some Dracula 2000 franchise stuff which wasnt all that bad.
bigevilworldwide1 I understood it just fine tyvm- and I am a literally lifelong fan of Halloween, this movie fucking sucked!!!!! Don't tell me I didn't like it cause I don't understand it, you don't know jack about me or anybody else for that matter... Damn, how arrogant can you be??

The Zombie Myers looks more like a bearded hillbilly hobo copycatting Michael than the actual Michael.
a half an hour of you guys!! must be my early bday gift!!! lol xo
Happy Early Birthday! (I knew that anyway so.......)
Hi Mike and jay ❤❤❤❤
I would've definitely gone to see this
I listen to this wayyyy too much😳🤭🎃🎃🎃
Todd Farmer is a horrible writer, he copies existing films and makes it a horror sequel, Jason X is Aliens, My Bloody Valentine 3D is My Bloody Valentine just flip flopped the killer
Rob zombies Halloween 2 could of had potential but if kind of fell flat.
Now we have halloween 2018 which rehashes all the sequels and ends like H2
But Kills and Ends are supposed to be fresh ideas. I feel like they did that to get the younger generation back into Halloween. Super excited for the new ones
She actually Died at the end of 2 , Rob Zombie says it in the Commentary.
word
WeWatchedAMovie hey guys, may I ask for the script, please? kocira@seznam.cz
He says it in the commentary for the unrated cut, not the theatrical cut. The ending to both versions have completely different endings.
***** I hope you enjoy it man.
Hey Mike, what is one thing you want to see in the new Halloween movie? I want to see a badass story that holds up.
I want Michael to be stalker/scary again. Like, to really feel like he's supernatural but not in a Jason way....you know what I mean?
WeWatchedAMovie you want the metaphorically supernatural Michael Myers aka The Shape.
Where may I find these scripts you read I can only find ones for movie that have been released
BTW thank you guys for doing what you do I watch EVRRYDAY also love the podcast also
DONT STOP
I LOVE YOUR FACES !
zar oelke just fuck off
Any movie with 3D in the title is automatic shit! I'm so glad this was never made!
Hey I'm sure, somewhere on some dark movie shelf somewhere there's a "BOOBIES 3D"
Oh you mean Piranha 3D? Gianna Michaels was in that.
WeWatchedAMovie i so agree with you guys , we got the same minds bro , good video & I SAID GODDAMNNNNNN!!!!!!!
Cameron Babb the Simpsons in 3D I'd watch that
True Friday the 13th part 3 is so bad
Since it was a sequel to a Rob Zombie film I think we all know what Michael wanted to do with his mother's corpse. Hell in the dream opening of his Halloween II 2 ambulance drivers talk about wanting to have sex with Lynda's dead body.
26:34 😂
And after Halloween ends there will be another reboot but then that’s the last if it dosent get canceled
Sounds interesting, wish they made this movie
Nice Video Guys! I wish they do a Halloween sequel after Halloween resurrection that includes David Loomis (Dr. Loomis's son) saving Laurie's son or saving the only survivors of the Strode Family.
And they should bring Back Leigh Brackett from the original Halloween.
Apparently they were working on a sequel where Laurie son goes after Michael after he hears what happens to her mother, but it was scrapped and we got the reboot.
xPanic attackx Awww man, they should have waited on the reboot...That would have been interesting to see the continuation of John- and it would have been pretty cool to see someone more capable hunting Michael; I mean, no hating on Loomis, but the dude wasn't very tough or rugged, and he had gotten pretty old...They could've turned John's character into that
@@xpanicattackx4308 it be intriguing
Honestly would have loved to see that. Michael finally meets his match. If I remember correctly, John is the last relative of Michael that is alive. Would of been one hell of a face off. Too bad we got Rob Zombie crappy remakes.
you guys should watch David Lynch's filmography. I'm very interested in hearing your guys' thoughts.
Rob Zombies 1st Halloween was great . H2O was ok 6/10 for me
These guys have really good content, you just have to get past their 8th grade maturity level.
what camera do you use mike? I completely agree with you guys on the script btw. I hope John Carpenter does a great job with the next halloween
Take a shot every time they swear
Rob Zombies H2 would have been a good horror movie if it wasn't a Halloween movie. It was actually a decent horror slasher flick
Sounds terrible
TheMYERSFAN25 stfu stop hating on RZH because it wasn't a shot for shot remake.
DICEM Slasher RZ did a fucking great job with Halloween (2007) and his Michael creeped me out lol, but Halloween 2 (2009) was not so good.
It's a script for a Rob Zombie Halloween film and the other two were shit so that's no surprise.
Is it just me or does the 3D that movies come out as now seem like an ultra HD and not really 3d. Like when I was a kid and went to go see a 3d show things actually came off of the screen. It doesn't seem that way anymore seems just a bit gimmicky.
I'm not aware of this Script.
Ya'll are so entertaining and cute .... what a great channel
Right?! The guy with the hat is kind of sexy ..I dig his eyes.
Rachel H. Season of the witch was at least good
I definitely would've liked to see this movie made, mainly since it would have been a gory fun horror trash which I'm a sucker for, and as a sequel to the more cerebral Rob Zombie's Halloween II, it would have been a good bloody time, especially with how visceral and just brutal overall Michael is in it and the little references to my second favorite film in the franchise, Season of the Witch. It wouldn't have been a good film at all, but you can argue none of the HalloweeN films except John Carpenter's original are objectively good.
Well i think i was the unic thing in the theater that liked the Halloween reboot
The original is better , but the reboot is not so bad how the people says
Is that the Canadian blue beer?
I've said it once and I'll say it again, you guys need to get a motel room for a weekend with a bottle of JD and a bag of coke and hammer out a Halloween script. I'll garuntee you guys would be able to sell it!
oh and this script was trash apart from the boss fight at the end
how'd you guys get the script
Found it on a site called Scribd.com
Is the Halloween 3D the same as the halloween returns script? If not, is it possible to find it online?
No they are both seperate scripts......The halloween Returns script is in the comments section of that video we did for it....for the Halloween 3D script I had to pay for a subscription to Scribd.com
ProjectOverRated pm me or drop your email for the script (plus bonus extras)
Hmm halloween kills going to have his mask burnt on to his face 🤔
Where can I find a copy of this Script I have read the Halloween Returns which I thought was really good
I wouldnt expect anything less than shoddy writing from Todd. While he has had some highlights -MBV3D, Drive Angry, and even Jason X- his screenplays are not the most well written.
Pretty sure Patrick did some Dracula 2000 franchise stuff which wasnt all that bad.
Epic!
You can tell me where I can find the script online?
Yes search Halloween 3D script.
they need to make a sequal to Resurrection
I'd watch it. Even though it's kind of like marrying the ugly chick you woke up next to just out of a feeling of completism and obligation.
bigevilworldwide1 I understood it just fine tyvm- and I am a literally lifelong fan of Halloween, this movie fucking sucked!!!!! Don't tell me I didn't like it cause I don't understand it, you don't know jack about me or anybody else for that matter... Damn, how arrogant can you be??
Stop with the "people who didn't like a film I like didn't understand it" crap. People understood Zombie's Halloween II fine. It was just shit.
@bigevilworldwide1 H20 was Good what you saying
I wish we got halloween 3D I sounds cool
"Follows on from rob zombies halloween" Im out.
Watched you guys before the Schmoedown.. Schmoedown came in first but fuck it I went WWAM..
Yes
they need to make that movie
Anybody else get like a million ads during this video
This was great......could you possibly do a similar video with the lost boys sequel, Lost Girls, script....
We have more coming! Good idea on the Lost Boys script!
WeWatchedAMovie thanks!
Rob zombies Halloween 3 is not the same night like Halloween 2007 and 2009 it’s next Halloween and this would have been better then 2007 and 9.
THE LAST GOOD HALLOWEEN MOVIE WAS H20. PERIOD. FUCK RESUREECTION FUCK THE REMAKE, FUCK H2 ...YOU GUYS ROCK KEEP IT UP!!
i agree with you man
H20 wuznt det good bruh it wuz damn near scream but with Michael Myers
I remember watching an interview and Scout said she wouldn't have done it without Rob Zombie. That wouldve really ruined their script 😂
